Happy Macro Mondays!
... and happy Winter Solstice to those in the north. We almost made it through the darkness. Tomorrow the sun begins its journey back north again!
For the final week of macro mondays this year I have decided to have a mashup of the themes five, fruit and the beauty of bokeh placing a star fruit in front of our Christmas tree. HMM everyone.

Christmas decoration revisited…
Have a wonderful week, everyone!
May it be full of pleasant surprises. 😊
I love it when leaves fall and get wedged on the way to the ground, as if to say, "I've not done yet!!"
Natural bokeh, nothing added!
Macro Monday Submission under the theme "The beauty of Bokeh" plus my final weekly DPC challenge photograph
Created for the Macro Mondays challenge (December 21st 2015) "The Beauty of Bokeh"
My first shot for the theme is here Silver and Gold 1 and there is an explanation of the thinking behind this alternative 'take' on the same shot. This version of the small Christmas ornament with tinsel was taken using the Sony A-77M2 100mm F2.8 Macro lens. I had to focus on a tiny detail of the ornament in order to focus - but otherwise the set-up is exactly the same. There are 3 shots in the sequence - hope you enjoy the comparsions ;o)

These were some woolen christmas puddings that my wife knitted for charity. They covered single Ferrero Rochers chocolates and were sold to raise money for the charity 'Hope for Justice' This charity works in the UK for the release of people working in slavery. Just last month, 11 individuals were rescued in Manchester from appalling conditions.Happy Christmas everyone.
