Some nice reflections of the Thames Barrier
… not too sure about their carbon footprint, but these cats are wicked fast ! The Thames Barrier, and Canary Wharf on the Isle of Dogs makes a picturesque background. The twin cranes on the right are on the loading dock of the huge Tate & Lyle sugar plant.

Shad Thames is a historic riverside street next to Tower Bridge in Bermondsey, London,, and is also an informal name for the surrounding area. In the 19th century, the area included the largest warehouse complex in London.
Tide out on the Thames, Kent on the distant shore.... little coaster being caught by its bigger cousin...

Starting as a small trickle in the Cotswolds the River Thames travels over 210 miles through the heart of some of England’s most picturesque towns, right into the centre of London and eventually, out into the North Sea. Here at the Tower bridge.
The Thames Tunnel is an underwater tunnel beneath the River Thames, built between 1825 and 1843. It measures 11m wide by 6m high and is about 400m long. It was the first tunnel known to have been constructed successfully underneath a navigable river. It was used by pedestrians until it became part of the London Overground railway network.
This was a very cold visit and the water was really this blue.This is a Hotel on this part of the Thames,near Reading,Berkshire,beside the Goring Lock and Weir.My upload of the Weir in the last couple of week shows this hotel from another angle.
