Hajvery University Students of Fashion & Textile Design showcased their Dress Designs in an elegant Exhibition held at HU Euro Campus. The event attracted a large number of people, including Fashion Designers, Boutiques, Press & Media; the audience was overwhelmed by the work of the young fashion designers; each display portrayed a different theme ranging from modern to historical times.

Stumbled upon a textile art exhibit a while back and wanted to get a shot of it somehow. I tried different things, shooting the pieces inside, from the entrance, front door but nothing worked. There was an open window I noticed as I was leaving and got this shot. The texture you see on the edges is the window screen.

9 textile samples influenced by some of my earlier prints and paintings. Each displays 4-5 different techniques per rectangle such as, automatic machine stitch, hand sewing, free hand embroidery stitch, screen printing,dyeing and distressing fabrics.

Tullie Textiles group meets on the second Sunday of the month at Tullie House Museum and Art Gallery between 2-4 pm. Each month we see a different object from the collections and I demonstrate a different textile skill or technique. The group is free to attend. June: Beaded Buttons
We also had a selection of work from a participatory project run by artist Carol Parker called 'From Lincolnshire and Back.'
These were the prints i used to start off my clothing line and also pass the textiles course for the rolling programme. These prints consisted of a stencil that i carved, and different sheet types of printing ink. Then scanning them into photoshop the development was produced, using filters, colour change, stamping and burning tools for effects.
