This version of a national textbook was revised and adopted by the California Board of Education for use in California schools. It's from 1922. Isn't the cover fantastic? Trucks, trains, ships, smokestacks!
First day back at school. No more bright and sunny pictures! All calculators and books and papers instead.

One of the things I always coveted from my college professors were the rows and rows of textbooks that just made them look so scholarly.... I'm a dork, I know. It's amazing, though, that once you have a faculty position, the publishing companies send you free textbooks! Doesn't get much better than free books. Here's a sampling of mine.
