Every 10 or 15 minutes, an interactive "Jumbli" game would come on, offering about 2 minutes during which a viewer can submit a response via SMS to the word jumble. I was only able to text in two during this segment. Will go back sometime to see if I've made the leaderboard...

Man, I MUST be old. I remember when people used to actually talk to each other. Now, it's sit on the couch like a mute and click away.
I can only assume that my grandchildren will probably be psychic. That way, they can completely do away with these unnecessary phones that are getting in the way and just think their conversations. I'm just glad I won't be around for that...I don't want people to know what I really think of them.

The set theme was: C is for Calamity
I'd been mulling over possibilities for a "calamity" shot all week. I missed the dramatic incident of a bus on fire on one of the main roads out of town, but totally out of the blue I had my own real calamity on Friday when I phoned my 91-year-old father and couldn't get an answer. I tried again 5 minutes later, and this time he did respond, only to say that he had fallen. Thankfully my step-brother lives nearby and he and his wife sat with Dad while I drove up to his house (about 1 hour 40 minutes). By the time the doctor came, Dad was able to walk again and today he is fine and can't understand why everyone is making a fuss!
Anyway, this is my attempt to convey the frantic attempts to contact my brother before setting off on the long drive.

It was about 7:30 A.M. and I was in the office on a Saturday morning. I was getting things done and taking care of business. I noticed on my calendar it was my buddy Tim's birthday.
I guess I probably woke up him, but it was worth winning the "award for earliest message" on his birthday.
Young gay couple in the kitchen. Morning daytime. Wearing pyjamas, drinking coffee and having breakfast. Using smart phones. Caucasian ethnicity, blond hair.

From a very young age you see children with mobile phones, nowadays.
I personally think that it is still a very expensive must have 'gadget'? How did we all ever survive without it????????
Anyway, here, this girl was only playing with her mum's phone, pretending, it was great fun!
