الجريدة الرسمية للجمهورية السورية هي جريدة دورية أسبوعية نشرت للمرة الأولى سنة 1919 و كانت تصدر باللغتين العربية و الفرنسية، و ينشر فيها كل القوانين، المراسيم، الأنظمة، قرارات المفوضية العليا، مذكرات المجلس النيابي، قرارات محكمة التمييز العليا، بلاغات، نشرات رسمية و إعلانات.

و يذكر بأن الاشتراكات السنوية لهذه الجريدة كانت كالتالي:

600 قرش سوري للقسمين العربي و الفرنسي (خارج سوريا)

500 قرش سوري للقسم العربي (خارج سوريا)

450 قرش سوري للقسم الفرنسي (خارج سوريا)

500 قرش سوري للقسمين العربي و الفرنسي (داخل سوريا)

300 قرش سوري للقسم العربي (داخل سوريا)

250 قرش سوري للقسم الفرنسي (داخل سوريا)

قيمة العدد الواحد للقسمين العربي و الفرنسي 25 قرش سوري

قيمة العدد الواحد للقسم العربي 15 قرش سوري

و قد كان مدير المطبعة و الجريدة الرسمية الأستاذ أحمد الركابي هو المسؤول عن تنسيق كل الإعانات و كافة المراجعات و كان عنوان هذه الجريدة (دمشق – شارع محطة الحجاز) و تلفون الجريدة (2 – 24)

بالنسبة للمجلد الموجود في مكتبة سيريانيوز فهو يحوي على الأعداد الصادرة من 5 كانون الثاني 1939 و الذي يحمل رقم 1 كرقم تسلسلي و حتى العدد الصادر في 9 آذار 1939 و الذي يحمل رقم 9 كرقم تسلسلي بالصفحة 5 و ينتهي بالصفحة 316 أي 311 صفحة بالإضافة إلى ملحقات و إضافات،كما و يحوي في كل عدد على قسم باللغة الفرنسية له ترقيم بشكل مفرد عبارة عن حوالي 10 صفحات للعدد الواحد.

و هذه الأعداد من السنة الحادية و العشرون لإصدار الجريدة، و الجدير بالذكر بأن هاشم الأتاسي كان في ذلك الوقت رئيساً لسوريا.

و من أبرز الشخصيات الوطنية في تلك الفترة (أواخر الثلاثينيات) و التي كانت في مناصب قيادية (جميل مردم بك – لطفي الحفار- سعد الله الجابري- فائز الخوري- مظهر رسلان – عبد الرحمن الكيالي – حسن الحكيم)

Things Children Play With Gallery by F-2

During April and May 2007 I was involved in a challenge to produce a new image each day for thirty days. The theme I chose for this thirty day challenge was The Things Children Play With which explored toys both modern and through the ages. To help with this project I carried out a lot of research online and this information accompanies each image. There was no prize for completing the challenge, only the satisfaction of taking part and reaching the end.

Look out for the alternative images which have links on many of the images in this gallery. There is also a separate gallery for these alternative images and the link can be found below. These images were not chosen for a variety of reasons including not being strong enough images, choosing a totally different subject for that day and simply because it wasn't chosen.

I also did another section called Did You Know? which provided a new fact about toys down the ages each day. The link below provides a listing of all thirty facts.

I really enjoyed producing these images along with researching and writing the text to accompany them. There is also a lot more information than we normally provide on most images about how they were produced including lighting and post production work.

Doing this challenge really helped me to understand what a professional photographer faces, getting up every day and having to produce high quality, creative images. I’m going to leave this gallery here on Flickr so that visitors can come and view the images in the future.
