On the Eve of New Year holidays, the company Louis Vuitton ( www.louisvuitton.com/ ) has made a gift to their customers. Right in the store customers could sign a greeting cards.
Each customer himself thought the text of wishes, and I wrote this text on cards. A calligraphical composition – pure improvisation. Postcards with warm wishes was a touching sincere complements to the magnificent gifts, bought at the store.
is there anything special about you.
Grandiose delusions or delusions of grandeur are principally a subtype of delusional disorder but could possibly feature as a symptom of schizophrenia and manic episodes of bipolar disorder. Grandiose delusions are characterized by fantastical beliefs that one is famous, omnipotent, or otherwise very powerful. The delusions are generally fantastic, often with a supernatural, science-fictional, or religious bent (for example, belief that one is an incarnation of Jesus Christ).
Grandiose delusions are distinct from grandiosity, in that the sufferer does not have insight into his loss of touch with reality.

This is another image of the red barn found in the rural area of Niagara-on-the Lake, Ontario. On speaking with the land-owner to obtain permission to shoot on his property, we learned the main portion of the barn (seen here as just the small section protruding on the right) dates to 1888, and the rear addition (the main part of the barn in this view) dates to 1919, when the then owner returned from the First World War (sort of apropos given we visited on November 11). The barn is in need of some restoration but the colour is simply stunning in its surroundings. The turquoise fiberglass panels cover an area that appears to once have been a 'door' such as was typically used for livestock access to the shelter of the lower part of the barn. Of course, the 'Red Rule' applied and here is the result. - JW

Taken using a tripod-mounted Nikon D7100 fitted with a Nikor 18-105mm VR lense set to 48mm, ISO100, Auto WB, Aperture priority mode, f/9.0, 1/25 sec. PP in free Open Source RAWTherapee from Nikon RAW/NEF source file: resize to 9000x6000, adjust exposure to darken slightly overall, adjust colour balance to slightly warm the image, very slightly increase overall contrast, increase vibrance very slightly slightly, enable micro-contrast, apply noise reduction, save. PP in free Open Source GIMP: modify tone curve to brighten upper 2/3 of the tone curve very slightly while holding the remaining lower portion to the default level, increase the saturation of the green areas only (including the grass area) slightly, sharpen, save, scale to 6000x4000 (my preferred size for prepping an image for posting), add fine black and white frame, add bar and text on left, scale to 1800 wide for posting.
First look at the amazingly beautiful glass jewelry box in the Art of Aurora Collection. It sold out early in the first day of its release in the US and was never available in stores. So I imported it from the UK through some fellow collectors. I received the Art of Aurora Jewelry Box on Saturday (Sept 13).
The most unusual aspect of it is the mirrored surface on the bottom of the inside, which shows a reflection of the top image of Aurora. But since it is a reflection of the underside of the image, you see the image in its original orientation. It is clear and bright, and at first glance looks as though the image was duplicated on the bottom of the case. You also see a reflection of the sides of the case, so it makes the box look twice as deep as it really is.
There are a couple of imperfections in the box that I should point out. One is that there are small air bubbles in the sticker containing the image of Aurora that was glued to the top of the case. They are only really noticable if you look closely at the top, and at a shallow angle. The other is that the glue on the inside of the top that holds the various pieces of glass together is rather unevenly applied, and has a yellowish color, rather than being perfectly clear. The glue is fortunately not visible from the outside of the case, being hidden by the metal frame.

This was a poster design I did for my print technologies class. I designed the poster to be very simplistic and minimalistic, while trying to achieve a retro feel. Hope you enjoy it!

Please Note: This is a redesigned booklet. It was redesigned by an Australian called Xerocorp. It therefore has "British-isms", spelling differences from how the CIA would spell some words. The original (with 'American-isms') can be found here: geocities.com/eco-action/crapaganda/xcia.htm
Here is the online text that comes with the redesigned booklet:
The original document on which this one is based was a sabotage manual produced by the United States Central Intelligence Agency for distribution in Nicaragua in the 1980’s. It was hoped that if enough disenfranchised individuals undertook activities that subverted economic stability, the Leftist government would be more easily overthrown. The manual described itself as “a practical guide to... paralyzing the military-industrial complex... without having to use special tools and with minimal risk for the combatant.”
It continues, “Some might think that today’s armed struggle requires military supplies and economic resources only available to states or terorist bands... There is an essential economic infrastructure that any government needs to function, which can easily be disabled or even paralyzed without the use of armaments or costly and advanced equipment, with the small investment of resources and time.
The folowing pages present a series of useful sabotage techniques, the majority of which can be done with simple household tools such as scissors, empty botles, screwdrivers, matches, etc. These measures are extremely safe and without risk for those who use them, as they do not require equipment, skill or specialized activities that can draw attention to the doer.
One combatant can perform many of them, without having to turn to collaborators or having to make a detailed plan beforehand. These are acts that can be done practically in an improvised way every time an occasion presnts itself. Our sacred cause needs to have more men and women join its ranks in order to perform these sabotage tasks. However, necessary caution should be taken, and only when the task requires it, should another person or persons participate in or have knowledge of a given act.”
While the original document was intended to facilitate subversion of the Nicaraguan government, the techniques may be applied to any other state or ‘military-industrial complex’ with which the individual is aggrieved. NB: not only are some of these activities illegal, but encouraging people to engage in them is also illegal. With this in mind, this text is presented as a snapshot of the cold war mentality of intelligence agencies, and not as a practical guide to acts of sabotage.
