Jan 1970. Photo taken on the island of Flotta in Orkney. Being treeless, there is no shelter and traditionally sheep were tethered to avoid them being blown off the cliffs into the sea. In the background are the islands of Cava and Fara, and in the distance, Hoy, all in Scapa Flow.
Nothing to do today but sit out on the back deck with the camera tethered to the laptop shooting the traffic at grand central station.
I'd just left my local Co-Op when I noticed this small dog (not sure of the breed) tethered to one of the crates, anxiously awaiting the return of its owner.
Just collected my dad's Yashica FX-7 from the service centre, I tot of giving it a brand new task.. Tethering! Hahahaaa..
