Made from a fish leader. The fish leader has 3 small plastic balls attached to the line. I use a pair of pliars to break the plastic balls and discard the broken pieces. The hooks on this fish leader are difficult to close or open, due to their sixe, but can be done.

ARM technicians Casey Longbottom (blue jacket) Dennis De Smet (orange jacket), both with Sandia National Laboratories, assist with the operation of a tethered balloon system (TBS) during ARM’s Surface Atmosphere Integrated Field Laboratory (SAIL) field campaign in Gothic, Colorado.
The SAIL campaign, which will run from September 2021 to June 2023, will provide insights into mountainous water-cycle processes.
