Petite photo test pour voir la précision du k800i.
Son appareil photo intégré est bien pour dépanner, mais mon vieux Minolta reste meilleur.
Old photo i took.
Watched a cool Documentary about the worlds most common font; Helvetica. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1rd3Zkcz_EE) with friends tonight. We decided to each mess around with the font on a few of our own pictures/designs after watching. Don't worry, Im not trying to turn into a Graphic Designer
Willie Wouldhave tested his lifeboat model at South Shields beach in 1789. His friend and collaborator W A Hails wrote that the model was unsinkable and self righting. The model lifeboat in South Shields museum is almost certainly not Wouldhave's model as it is not self righting. This model was made from Hails description and it performed well in the test showing great stability and the ability to surf down waves as well as being self righting in all conditions.
I just tested the Nikon V1 + FT1 adapter + Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 AF-S VRII (handheld) in the garden. This shot was made at 200mm f/2.8 which, with the 2.7 crop factor of the CX sensor, is equivalent to a shot made with a 540mm f/2.8. This shot is only very little cropped, with basic exposure and contrast adjustments.
Currently I'm testing some of the Color Efex filters. I quite like them, especially the "bleach bypass" and I'd get them if they weren't at that steep price of 160 Euro (funny things is that they cost only 160$ in the US. Quite a rip off!).
I just received a new lens, the Tokina 100mm Macro for Canon which is a long-time dream lens of mine.
And here comes the first test.
Left to right: original image @f/4, image with saturation lowered and image with saturation boosted.
All editing were done in DDP. Resized by Photoshop CS4
I am testing which cattail I like better, and am taking suggestions. My next print has 11 blocks including birds and cattails. This is just a small snippet. I need to carve out the beak on one of them and give the birds eyes.

Shooting a test roll I bulk loaded.
I kinda "twatted it up" but it came good in the end.
First I had somehow managed to put the canister back together with the spindle the wrong way around (hopefully people who have bulk loaded film before will know what I am talking about).
The roll didn't fit into my XA4 (a big clue something wasn't right) but I stuck it into my EOS 5 instead. Somehow it fitted in and wound on (not sure how with the spindle poking out the wrong end) and I shot the whole roll.
Then I hit problem number 2, I hadn't taped the film to the spindle properly so it snapped off and failed to rewind - I had to use a changing bag to rescue it.
In the end though I developed the film and all the photos came out fine - phew!

Testing a remote setup for a future shoot. Camera on magic arm attached to the fork and right grip. Pocket wizards triggered by button located on the left hand side of the handlebar. PW trigger both camera and two remote flashes on for at the camera right at 1/2 power and one as a rimlight behind me (rider) at 1/1. f16/0,5 sec. Remote PW on 0,43 second delay to get rear curtain sync. flash placement was a bit tricky as was the timing of the delay.
Was happy to see a recent outtake during my recent shoot with Vanessa was accepted over at www (dot) light - test (dot) com
For some reason, I find that website very addictive.
