Test of Yashica Penta J 35mm SLR. Shot on Ilford HP5+ with Yashinon 50mm f/2 cocking lens. Developed in Xtol stock + 1:100 Rodinal 8.5 minutes. Scanned with Canoscan 8600f.
It works and seems to be pretty accurate throughout all shutter speeds, but opening back up after cocking the lens doesn't happen very well. Perfectly peachy with any other lens though.
Testing the Sigma 30 mm on a D70s at Ritz camera, I took this pic and the next through the open door. At f8-10 its sharp.

Before going to work I wanted to find out how much time I have to 'strike a pose' with the timer on my camera. Was hoping to do a more interesting shot later today but got home late due to a trainaccident earlier. I'm tired.
Before anything, test your controls, and the ability to create water at a certain temperature setpoint. Here you can see the silly cardboard wind tunnel for the Relay Heatsink... Turns out that it didn't really get hot at all, and thus didn't need such of an overkill cooling system.
While the upper railing is still evolving, 2x4 by 2x4, screw by screw, extra little piece needed by extra little piece needed, the new banner is taken for a test run.

Looks good on LCD preview but upon scrutiny on my laptop was not so sharp :-(
Any one know how to select focus point and increase DoF while on iA mode?
I took the lens from a projector made in the 70s (the kind with a cassette tape built in for educational use) and 'attached' it to my point and shoot camera (the camera I use for all the photos on Flickr.)
Result = good.
This is a small need/thread from the cactus that tequila is made from. I got it (yay pockets) while in Mexico earlier this year.

I'm looking for another kenner, if you have an "spare one"... Let me know :)
Amazing smock made by MforMonkey. It was supossed to be for Odecos, but Hobbes stole it... And at the same time, Mochi, my odeco, stole Hobbes MforMonkey shirt. Oh well.
A very low-tech test shot of the Keay Street diorama, with the bits I've made so far fairly crudely set up in place, to get a rough idea how things might look (and the giant Venetian blind at the rear won't be making an appearance in the final pictures....). The terrace of houses at the rear of the picture needs windows and interiors/a roof, chimneys, etc, the whole right side of the factory on the street needs building, and the windows need finishing, drainpipes, etc, adding - so a huge amount of work still to be done...
I just purchased a new camera and poor Maggie (my female Rhodesian Ridgeback) is watching me test it in the front yard. She is not sure what I am doing but believes it has to be fun and would like to join me. The new camera is a Nikon D7100 along with the equally new Nikon 18-300mm zoom lens. Both are testing well and so far I am very pleased with this upgrade from my old D300. Only problem I currently have is that I can not yet process RAW images from the camera since software upgrades are needed. This is the first photo I have posted from the D7100.
