How old do you have to be to know what this might be?

On August 31st, I began my vacation, which I had taken to take advantage of the shorebird season, which was starting in style this year. I was heading to Sainte-Martine with two friends to see a Short-billed Dowitcher, which had been mentioned on eBird for a few days, a rare presence in our region. When we arrived, it was still there. Not very shy, it gave us some great photo opportunities. This day was marked by strong emotions. The start of the vacation, the sunny weather, the joy of seeing this beautiful shorebird (the wader season being one of my favorites). At the end of the day, after a photo session with a Bonaparte's Gull, which offered us a wonderful flight spectacle, I unfortunately fell into the river, my camera hitting a large emerging rock and touching the water. I rushed to test the camera, which was no longer responding. With bleeding knees, I returned to the riverside, sad. An echo of my near-drowning at Pointe Yamachiche in 2019 came back to me. The shorebird season is definitely very hard on the equipment. After two days spent in the sun and wind, my camera finally came back to life. I could continue my vacation in peace!

We bought a new rug. Milu loves it! She lies like this for hours and she is the only cat I have ever had that loves her tummy being rubbed. Try doing that to the other three and see what happens - lol

This guy was climbed to the end of this branch to observe. The branch was pretty thin.

This picture is for the group Happy Caturday and this week the theme is "It's a cat's job".

122 Pictures in 2022 - 52 It's a small world

On Tuesday I was out for a 10 mile country walk, and I stopped for lunch at Hurst Green church. From the bench where I was sitting, I could see this gravestone, and took a snap, just for reference and further research.

One of my other hobbies is family history and I could remember I had Tester ancestors in this area, and wondered if John Tester and I could be related ... and yes we are, so that's my small world.

John Tester (1827-1907) is my 2nd cousin, 5 times removed :) We share ancestors born in the 1720's.

Hey babes! I have been out of the loop on mer creation in SL for a LONG wile and I'll be dropping this as a freebie soon in order to gauge all interested parties looking to give feedback!!

Looking to hear about the fit, the rigging, the quality of the meshes shape and rigging, and the quality of the texture... Please let me know if you feel it has the potential to be a tail you would wear in the future if updated!

***Please keep in mind a few things moving forward***

This mesh tail was originally meant to fit Lara body in sizes and there isn't currently a "male" counterpart. it never even had the chance to be rigged to the bento bones and also doesn't work with sizing sliders.

With that being said, this tail is a 5joint rig!

for those who don't know... "5joint" mertail rigging is positioning the leg bones to act as a bento tail bone, there is currently only 1 AO available on market that has the option of 5 joint animations and that's the Tala AO found here.

marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Mermaid-AO-Tala-AO/7823449

An original AO previously on market known as the "5joint AO" has been removed by it's creator, however many of us still own it and it also works perfectly with this tail's rigging, but I understand that the original 5joint AO is also having scripting ERROR issues!!!

This can be fixed FIY♥ by turning off script errors in your preferences under your notifications tab.

Another thing to keep in mind during your feedback is mesh art styles! Some creators like myself lean more on the textures to carry the mesh rather then others who enjoy sculpting every detail into the mesh neither is right or wrong just personal preference for the creator.

Please feel free to contact me in-world via IM or NC if you're interested in early access to this tail or have any questions.

Perms will be mod,copy only

Much love♥

xoxo
