The jury is still out on why Mattel bothered to go to the expense of making a Tesla Model S for its Hot Wheels range when a much superior version was already being produced by Matchbox. It doesn't seem to have concerned them too much as the MBX version is only on its second recolour whereas this HW has seen far more. I managed to get this plain red version back in late December 2015 when a few of them turned up on the pegs of Poundland, its a wonderfully stock colour which means the great tampo work remains even if its styling is a little suspect. Mint and boxed.

Better not loose that one, has several touch areas for opening, closing and locking of doors, truck, frunk. My favorite image from that event. BTW All pictures have been taken by our 10 year old son.
