Clive Barker’s Jericho™ is a terrifying squad-based horror FPS game based on an original concept and story by legendary horror writer and film maker Clive Barker, the creator of Hellraiser.

An ancient evil has broken through into our world and is threatening to spread its taint across the whole of the earth unless it’s stopped. At ground zero lies the Middle Eastern city of Al-Khali, a modern city built atop the ancient ruins of a dozen previous conquerors.

Clive Barker’s Jericho delivers an overload of sensory horror. Players journey through hellish locations and slices of time combating gruesome and twisted enemies. A squad-based horror FPS, the Jericho of the title refers to the Jericho Team, a seven-man strike force that protects government interests from paranormal threats. Trained in both conventional warfare and the arcane arts, each Jericho Team member is an expert in different para-psychological disciplines, including telekinesis, pyromancy, blood magic and exorcism.

September 12, 2009. Heading out to see a movie we spotted this mouse on the neighbour's lawn, surrounded by three cats from the area. As I leaned in to take the photo I could see the mouse, petrified, trembling with fear. The neighbour son captured the mouse in his sweatshirt and I transferred the mouse to a safe nook between the cement blocks in our front steps. Mice are mice and cats are cats, and the next time this mouse encounters a cat it will probably meet its end. But not on this day. Not this time.

The final batch of shots from our lovely little escape to Southwold in January

Almost as good as our name... *almost*

look how surprised those bitches are

This hung at the top of the stairs to my parents' room/loft when I was a kid. I was an insomniac when I was little, so there were a lot of nights when I couldn't fall asleep but I was too damn terrified to go up the stairs & face this horrifying picture to ask my mom for a glass of water. In other words, I don't think the monk here was helping matters.

My mom mailed this picture to me for my 25th birthday...I hung it in my living room, so when I'd have overnight guests, they could get a little taste of what haunted my childhood dreams. ;+)

One of a series of scary signs on I-10 in New Mexico, warning that dust storms may occur and obliterate the freeway.

Torre de Collserola, personally not one of my favourite structures but it does feel pretty tall up close. Towering almost 300 m it offers the highest viewpoint of Barcelona from the pod's 10th floor.

Stood on the glass floor at the top of the CN Tower.

Some people are good with heights. I am not one of those people. I was actually out on that rock, which overhangs the Grand Canyon. Plus, there was ice. I got all dizzy out there and had to sit down. Theresa had no problem out there.
