The Snowdon Mountain Railway runs for 4.7 miles from the town of Llanberis to the summit of Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales.
On a fine day, the journey on the only public rack and pinion railway in Britain offers sensational views across the Snowdonia National Park. At the summit, a Visitor Centre has refreshments, toilet facilities and a gift shop.
For the 2021 season, the train is terminating about ¾ of the way to the summit, see the railway’s website for full details.
