I've had several questions from people wondering what I'm talking about when I mention the "terminator." Contrary to popular belief, the terminator isn't a killer robot. It's the line between day and night on a planet or other natural orbiting object. On Earth, we experience the passing of the terminator as sunrise and sunset, but someone watching from the vantage point of the moon would see the line of light/dark, the terminator, slowly crossing the place where we were standing.
In this shot the terminator has reached the middle of Hipparcus and Albategnius. Their central peaks are all that remains poking up high enough for the sun to still strike them. This condition will only last for a few minutes, and those peaks, too, will be plunged into the fourteen-day long lunar night.
A few hours after this photograph, the terminator made its way across Ptolemaeus, Alphonsus, and Arzachel, and then began its march across Mare Nubium. The terminator is very interesting, both photographically and geographically, because the extremely low sun-angle creates shadows and highlights that reveal very subtle features in the terrain. Rupes Recta is a good example of this. The "Straight Wall" is all but invisible except when the sun is within a few degrees of the the lunar horizon. As the sun sets, it illuminates the slope, revealing its presence as a line that's brighter than the surrounding terrain. When the sunrise terminator is nearby, the rising sun leaves the slope in shadow, distinguishing Rupes Recta as a dark slash dividing the flooded, ruined crater beneath it.
I've taken the time to label most of the major features in this picture. This is one of my favorite spots on the lunar surface. I never tire of looking at it!
These are the Black Reach Terminators. i'm a fan of the colour blue, so i searched for blue chapters and Ultramines were everywhere, so i thought i'd give Crimson fists a go. i'm gonna get a bunch of these for the new chapter very soon!!!
From Wikepedia:
The terminator is the line between the illuminated, day side and dark, night side of a planetary body (also known as the "grey line" or the "twilight zone"). . . . The line separates the portions of the earth experiencing daylight from the portion of the planet experiencing darkness. While one half of the earth is illuminated at any point in time, the location of the terminator line varies by time of day due to the rotation of the earth on its axis as well as the revolution of the earth around the sun.
Used 2 Manfrotto D-lite 2, one in front and one from the back using different power. Picture taken with Nikon D80 and a Nikon 50mm 1.8 @ F/8 mounted. Iso 100.

This was all I did originally. I later decided to try drawing the whole body. Though difficult, and a lot of short cuts were taken, it worked pretty well. But here is only the skull.
This dark, menacing feline is Terminator. He is a feral cat who lives around the farm and we feed him.
In human terms, he would like to be known as "fluffy lapcat" but unfortunately he is inept in social situations. For example, if you feed him, you see a look of confusion cross his face as he feels something is called for - maybe a purr or a meow of thanks? He works himself up to say something, the panic reaches a crescendo as he tries to decide - meow or purr? - and then he blows it by hissing and spitting.
He is unaware of the existence of such things as litter trays and has fought his way up in the countryside cat gangs to gain the territory he commands today. It was in one of these fights that his ear got damaged.
His favourite food is plump juvenile bunny. Behold him, and despair.

The Terminator and from left to right Christion Troxel, John Edward Lee, and Luke Sexton play the punks in Terminator Genisys from Paramount Pictures and Skydance Productions.
Now to put the other half of that Calth characters sprue to use. This was a pretty simple kitbash, even if making room for the Terminator Lord head took a bit of creative cutting. I do have an interesting idea for the base, which I'll show off once it dries. :)
