The Reading Terminal Market in Philadelphia. We were there to go to the passport office (long upsetting story) and we went down the night before to be sure we were on time. Our hotel was connected to the Reading Terminal, but sadly, not much is going on Sundays. I'd been to the market before, but Nelson had not.
It was once the Reading Railroad terminal. It's now a huge Farmers Market.

Habitat. Terminalia catappa L. Combretaceae. CN: [Malay -Ketapang], Indian-almond, Malabar-almond, Sea-almond, Tropical-almond. Native of Madagascar, China, Taiwan, India, Indo-China (Cambodia, Myanmar, Vietnam), Malesia (Indonesia, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, Philippines), Australia (Northern Territory, Queensland), Fiji, New Caledonia, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu; elsewhere naturalized and cultivated. Uses shade/shelter, food, timber, folk medicine. It grows to 35 metres tall, with an upright, symmetrical crown and horizontal branches. Fruit corky, light fruit that is dispersed by water. The nut within the fruit is edible when fully ripe, tasting almost like almond. As the tree gets older, its crown becomes more flattened to form a spreading, vase shape. Its branches are distinctively arranged in tiers. The leaves are large, 15–25 cm long and 10–14 cm broad, ovoid, glossy dark green and leathery. They are dry-season deciduous; before falling, they turn pinkish-reddish or yellow-brown. The flowers are monoecious, with distinct male and female flowers on the same tree. Both are 1 cm in diameter, white to greenish, inconspicuous with no petals; they are produced on axillary or terminal spikes. The fruit is a drupe 5–7 cm long and 3–5.5 cm broad, green at first, then yellow and finally red when ripe, containing a single seed.

Leider sind mir die Bilder in dem Gebäude nicht so gut gelungen, daher hab ich mal einen etwas altertümlichen Stil gewählt, dann passt es wieder, oder?

The Dixie Terminal is a beautiful art deco building located in Cincinnati Ohio. The building has been used in several films, and was the center of travel in the downtown area, serving as the bus depot. Northern Kentucky bus lines carried passengers to downtown for work, shopping and more. The terminal once house the newspaper stands, coffee shops, boutiques and more. The marble interior contains a primary arcade which is an archway, and the 2nd floor, seen here, has a balcony that encircles the entire floor, with archways lining the balcony, and cautioned off with the railings seen here. The second floor hallways are also arched. The building now serves as an office for the Great American Insurance company. The building was built to perfection by artists, architects and even a photographer. The medallions seen in this photo on the ceiling contain gold guilding and each has a unique artistic rendering of children in various forms of play.
