Long-term hiree 66091 passes Besford in excellent autumnal conditions with the 4V44 10.45 Daventry-Wentloog Tescoliner; just before England entered its second national lockdown. This was my first encounter of this Shed carrying the DRS Corporate livery, it was working for its previous operator DB Cargo for my last sighting of it a year and a half earlier - flickr.com/photos/135352375@N08/33897368378/in/photolist-....
This was a welcome return to this location after a lengthy absence to this popular spot, nearly five years to the date too! (www.flickr.com/photos/135352375@N08/30543775090/in/photol...). Unfortunately, this was the best I could manage within the couple of hours spent here as the background cloud rolled in to scupper my later targets.
This is my second time on flickr, I started back in 2012,
I needed a change so I started anew, clean slate new beginning, today, I am pausing and reflecting on my jounery

I tell my story not as a mere recollection of events, being in a long term submssive relationship, and engading ofthen in S&M play, I find is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit- my spirt. It is a story woven with threads of passion, desire, and unwavering determination. Through the art of photo stories, I reclaim my narrative, casting aside the shackles of societal expectations to embrace the true essence of my submissive nature.

ENG: The term Strelasund crossing refers to the two bridge connections of the island of Rügen over the Strelasund to the Vorpommern mainland near Stralsund.
The new three-lane high bridge with its striking pylon legs can be seen. It bears the name "Rügenbridge" and was opened in 2007. It connects the island of Rügen with the Hanseatic and World Heritage city of Stralsund.
I have photographed the bridge from the "Rügendamm" bridge from 1937.This old bridge is directly next to the new one and accommodates the railway line to Sassnitz.
GER: Mit dem Begriff Strelasundquerung werden die beiden Brückenverbindungen der Insel Rügen über den Strelasund zum vorpommerschen Festland bei Stralsund bezeichnet.
Zu sehen ist die neue dreispurigen Hochbrücke mit der markanten Pylonstiele. Diese trägt den Namen „Rügenbrücke“ und wurde 2007 eröffnet. Sie verbindet die Insel Rügen mit der Hanse- und Weltkulturerbestadt Stralsund.
Fotografiert habe ich die Brücke von der „Rügendamm“ Brücke von 1937. Diese alte Brücke liegt direkt neben der neuen und beherbergt die Bahnstrecke nach Sassnitz.

In the 12th century, a village occupied the southern slope of its pech: Termes had become a castrum. The wealthy and influential lords of Termes were powerful vassals of the Viscount of Carcassonne-Béziers, Trencavel. For the leader of the crusaders, Simon de Montfort, Termes was a priority target. He besieged it in 1210. The capture of this strategic location, reputed to be impregnable, left a lasting impression and inspired numerous chroniclers.

From the perspective of the UK and, important to clarify, from my own point of view, I would say that what is being talked about is a struggle for power over public opinion and the control of the media. Political interest groups use "hot-button" issues (racism, gender roles, Brexit, immigration, the interpretation of colonial history etc.) as a technique to polarise society and distinguish between "us" and "them". This is not a debate in the interest of truth. It is all about bullying and pushing certain agendas through. In other words, culture wars have intentional consequences. When a public TV channel with critical news reporting is being "privatised" or when the public BBC is threatened with a redrafting of its charter, you know that very likely culture wars are involved. During summer season PKP Intercity often uses the short term lease of locomotives to assure the traction for increased number of services daily. Jak to zwykle obserwujemy latem, PKP Intercity wzmacnia inwentarz lokomotyw krótkoterminowymi wynajmami pojazdów. I zazwyczaj to PKP Cargo jest dostawcą lokomotyw na sezon letni.

Near a ridge line road, a Black-throated Green Warbler lurks around a downed tree. For a brief moment, this colorful bird perched on this mossy branch that was leaning on the tree. He spent just a few seconds here before continuing along the ridge. He did so, likely looking for a hardy breakfast consisting of caterpillars and/or spiders. I've even seen these birds snatch gnats from mid-air. It's these behaviors that get me thinking. The term "bird of prey" may be reserved for larger raptors, but most birds are predators in their own way. Whether they hunt insects, reptiles, small mammals or even other birds. Even hummingbirds eat their fair share of tiny insects and arachnids.
Au terme d'une journée très ensoleillée à l'extrême ouest de la Slovénie, le R1604 est aperçu en pleine ascension des montagnes peu après son départ de Koper. Avec un départ à 20h05, il n'était pas gagné d'avance d'avoir encore de la lumière lors de son passage dans les montagnes. D'autant qu'à l'aller le matin même, la tentative à Rakek s'était révélée être un échec en raison du brouillard matinal de la vallée. La seconde tentative du soir sera heureusement plus fructueuse, avec un passage dans les dernières minutes de soleil de la journée.
Ce train est le dernier service voyageur assuré en rame tractée sur la ligne, depuis l'arrivée massive des nouvelles automotrices Stadler. Il se compose d'une tranche des SŽ, ainsi que de deux voitures MÀV qui seront reprises à Maribor pour poursuivre vers la Hongrie. Le train est habituellement tracté par une 363, machine dérivée des CC 6500 française.
A term that was coind by Austrian 19th century poet Peter Rosegger, describing his homeland. This is the valey where he was born and raised. In fact you can see his birthplace in the back above the mist. This shot was taken after a thunderstorm had passt by.

As you may have noticed I didn't spend much time on flickr for the last few weeks...or even months? haha. thats because this term was very stressful. life, university and exams really got me and I hadn't time to take photos, edit them, upload them or looking what you guys were up too...but now I'm back :)
Teichalm I 2018
Went back to my old university for a couple of days last week. Haven't been there for over 30 years so a bit of a sentimental journey. Nothing much has changed apart from the visitor charges to go into the colleges! Relieved that my old college didn't charge me when I paid a visit. The autumn colours were a bit disappointing in the city but found these leaves by the river alongside Magdalen College.
(The current term is strictly called Michaelmas but I took liberties with the title.)
