I can't get over how vibrant and lucious this rose is! Can't believe I've seen anything quite like it! This, too, is from my favorite rose garden, located at Point Defiance Park in Tacoma, Washington. I tell ya, if you've never been before, I recommend it very highly! It's a must for those that enjoy a beautiful rose garden! Hope you all enjoy!

A jennie wild burro with her colt.
The wild burros in Custer State Park are a big hit with families and small children, as they are the only wild animals in the park that you can feed if you wish (we chose not to). The little ones sure are adorable!

Another of my friend's collection of porcelain figurines.
I'm not much of a collector, tend toward less is more. But these figurines are so delicately featured that I'm constantly looking at them......and now photoing them. And they never move when having their portraits taken.
