The temporary bridge is lifted into place across the River Eamont at Pooley Bridge, Ullswater, Cumbria. The old stone arched bridge was washed away as a result of Winter Storm Desmond. The engineering project has been made possible by Cumbria County Council bringing in specialist bridging contractors Mabey Hire and Cumbrian construction firm Story Contracting: 28 February 2016

The Palazzo della Gran Guardia in Verona
One of the most important and prestigious venues on the occasion of temporary exhibitions in Verona is the Palazzo della Gran Guardia , building constructed on several occasions since the early years of the '600, when the city of Verona in the mainland part of the estate of the Republic of Venice .
The building was required to the Doge of Venice by the then Captain of the city Giovanni Mocenigo, to have a large porch where you can spend reviewing the troops and to perform the exercises of fencing on rainy days. The project was realized by Domenico Curtoni , a pupil of Michele Sanmicheli , the greatest interpreter of the Renaissance style in Verona. Compared to sober monumentality of Sanmicheli, Domenico Curtoni replied with an evolution of style more refined and lively.
The name of the building comes from its position at the closing of Piazza Bra , the large space where the ' Arena , which l ' building seems precisely to guard. The Gran Guardia together becomes the Arena, Palazzo Barbieri (Town Hall) and the Liston, one of the sides of the square.
I work for the construction of the Great Guard stopped several times for probematiche economic, and the building was finished only in 800, during the Austrian period. The Palazzo della Gran Guardia was recently renovated to become a modern and fully equipped multifunctional center, equipped, in addition to the large porch, an auditorium, vast salt can accommodate conferences , exhibitions , concerts , conferences .

Residents now live in prefabricated housing made of metal boards that were donated by the Guangzhou government. Each town and county in the earthquake stricken area is matched with another province or city in China to provide aid for the victims. Yingxiu was first matched with Guangzhou but later was changed to Dongguan.
Plans for the rebuilding of Yingxiu town have not been announced but expected to take up to three years.
