Residents now live in prefabricated housing made of metal boards that were donated by the Guangzhou government. Each town and county in the earthquake stricken area is matched with another province or city in China to provide aid for the victims. Yingxiu was first matched with Guangzhou but later was changed to Dongguan.
Plans for the rebuilding of Yingxiu town have not been announced but expected to take up to three years.

Due to the temporary close of education I had to adapt to doing my art and design foundation course at home. Therefore I had to change or compromise the materials I was working with, such as instead of clay I worked with polymer clay, and instead of creating 3D models with clay I used cardboard from a toilet roll. I also did some wire work to show that I can do quick observational drawings with different material.
