My wife and I visited my brother and sister-in-law in sunny Florida during week 4 of the One a Week 2020 Group Challenge. In a pond less than 50 yards from their back lanai was this wild, seven foot alligator with some rather menacing teeth. It's part of living in Florida, I guess.
(4.12.12) Unless you are blind i'm sure you have noticed I have braces. I have had them for over a year now. I have a gap in my teeth where I had a baby tooth pulled in october. My perminent tooth was literally in the middle of the roof of my mouth. They had to dig in there and find it and then put a bracket on it to pull it in place. It has been six months now that i've had this gap and I hate it. Today I decided to try and see if I could see the tooth so I got out a hand mirror (smallest mirror I had) stuck it in my mouth and then looked in my bathroom mirror. I was soooo excited to see how far it has moved. With the wedding coming up the orthodontist said she could make me a fake tooth for the wedding but i'm really hoping my own tooth will be in place in time! yay
P.S. Sorry if this picture grosses anyone out.

The Rondout Creek meets the Hudson River at this point in Kingston, NY, where machinery rests in mud along the shoreline. Brickmaking was the industry here in the second half of the 19th century and the first half of the 20th. Mills prospered because of nearby raw materials (clay), forests to cut for fuel for furnaces, and a fleet of tugs and barges to carry finished bricks to market in New York City. hudsonvalleyone.com/2018/01/11/feat-of-clay-looking-back-...
