If only digital marketers leverage messaging in their #MarketingPlan, they could largely improve their users’ experience and overall journey. You can do this by articulating the pain points of your customers – know who you are messaging by finding out the frequency of engagement whether offline or online, identify both their psychological motives and tangible needs at the moment, and learn about the customer’s context by pinpointing when and on what scenario they are ingesting information given.
But what makes an effective message? Remember that your messages should not be too annoying and invasive, be paired with a contextual call-to-action, be personalized (when necessary), and be easily digested with a quick glance.
