Opening Bell : Sensex is trading 38 points up at 28115 and Nifty is up 7 points at 8,700. In the Nifty 50 index, Axis Bank, Hindalco, Ambuja Cement, ACC and Cipla were down between 2.09 per cent and 2.70 per cent. On the other hand, Idea Cellular, Tech Mahindra, Tata Power, HCL Tech and Dr Reddy’s Labs were up between 1.39 per cent and 2.41 per cent. In broader market, most of the BSE sectors have gained positive leads, where Small cap index is trading 0.56% up and Mid cap index is trading 0.06% up. Banking sector is trading high, while IT & TECk sectors are under pressure. In Asian market, Japan's index Nikkei has gained 0.27% and Hong Kong's index Heng Seng has gained 0.31% in the morning session.

Closing Bell : The equity market ended on green side with minor hikes. The BSE Sensex closed 69.11 points up at 28,292.81, while Nifty settled 38.75 points up at 8745.15. In the Nifty 50-index, Eicher Motors, Hindalco, Idea Cellular, Tata Steel and Zee Entertainment gained between 3.45 per cent and 5.56 per cent. On the other hand, Reliance Industries, Tech Mahindra, Coal India, HUL and Sun Pharma slipped between 0.61 per cent and 1.95 per cent. The BSE SmallCap index has gained 1.04%, while MidCap index has gained 0.93% today.

#Equity benchmarks continued to consolidate in early trade Wednesday after investors digested third quarter earnings. The 30-share #BSE #Sensex was up 35.23 points at 28374.54 and the 50-share #NSE #Nifty gained 12.50 points at 8804.80. Adani Ports, ITC, Infosys, Larsen & Toubro, ONGC, Tech Mahindra and Grasim were early gainers while Tata Motors tanked 7.5 percent after CLSA downgraded the stock to sell from buy due to weak earnings. NTPC, Sun Pharma, Maruti Suzuki, Dr Reddy's Labs and BHEL were other losers. The Indian rupee has opened flat at 66.92 per dollar against previous close of 66.93.

12 students get placement in VIVTECH_Techmahindra placement drive
On 30th October (Saturday) Tech Mahindra visited the campus for conducting the Off Campus interview.
A mix of 300 diploma engineering students from various streams from across the state participated in the interview. Out of that, a total of 50 and than 25 students were shortlisted for the second and third round respectively. Finally 12 students were given the letter of appointment.
The selected students will join in tech Mahindra Pune office with a package ranging between Rs 1.40 and Rs 1.80 lakh.

Training and Placement Cell is an integral part of Rohini College of Engineering and Technology (RCET), Best engineering college in Kanyakumari district. This cell functions with dedicative team who are exclusively working 24*7 to guide the engineering graduates for achieving 100% campus placements. Arranging quality recruiters for campus placements, guest lectures, career awareness from industry experts to deliver current knowledge/trends/opportunities to students and faculty and arranging industrial visits, in plant training and industry projects to impart practical knowledge and industry practices to students are some of the main activities undertaken by the placement team at RCET.
Rohini College of Engineering and Technology always believe in equipping the students with the right talent and personality to face the industry requirements. The major focus of RCET on placement revolves around creating new approaches to attract the best from the industry to the campus. The Placement & Training cell goes all out to train the students to meet the high industry expectations. For a better placement of a student different activities are organized in the campus that help the students to make their way easier.
The Placement cell enhances technical knowledge of the students, and also arranges value added courses according to the industrial requirements. These activities help students to understand what the latest trends in professions and what industries expect from upcoming professionals. Rohini College of Engineering and Technology has a 96.5% record of placements. RCET witnessed another wonderful placement season previous year by providing 490 placement offers to students. The superior placements records are one of the striking features of RCET that makes it one among the Top engineering colleges in Kanyakumari district.
There are 40+ companies that provides placement opportunities for students at Rohini College of Engineering and Technology. Accenture, Infosys, Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro, Justdial, Tech Mahindra, IDBI Federal, Siemens and TVS are few of the companies to name the same. The institution also lets its students grab the chance of practical learning by providing educational tours as well as industrial visits. Through hands-on training and internships, the college ensures that what is being taught is correlating to current industry standards.
