tGDP really felt like a startup today with some professional office space, a buncha laptops, and all of our recording gear. The only way it could have felt better is if we were in a coffee shop.

We headed to the Big Apple for a Tech Cocktail mixer & startup showcase. At New York City’s Center for Social Innovation, the latest and greatest batch of startups innovating out of New York had an opportunity to hop on stage and pitch their ideas before an excited and energetic crowd.

We headed back to Miami where we debuted our "Mixer and Startup Showcase." It was a great night filled with excitement and curiosity as people got to meet the startups that showcased. This patch is used by the U.S. Army Senior ROTC detachment at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. The patch was authorized in 1968. Georgia Tech's nickname is the Yellow Jackets and the school colors are gold and white.

In 2009, I was asked by Indiana Tech's women's soccer coach to photograph soccer games. It was my first paying gig and it was pretty sweet. These are some of my favorites.
At PMA's Tech Knowledge Symposium, attendees learned about groundbreaking technologies leading companies in the industry are deploying today with real-world results. They connected with tech partners and gained trusted information about tools that can manage labor, speed workflow and eliminate redundancies.
We partnered with Mobile Future to host the TechCocktail & Mobile Future SXSW Lunch, where we brought together leaders from across the country working in the wireless space.

A memorial was set up on Info Island within a couple of days of the Virginia Tech shootings. Over the following couple of weeks, the memorial grew larger and larger as many flowers, candles, inscriptions, dedications, and many different kinds of objects were left by Second Life residents from all over the world who came to remember all those who had died in this tragic shooting.
