This center opened in the mid 2000s and closed in 2019; it was originally Princess Lanes bowling alley, which was built and opened in 1960. It became Princess Anne Recreation Center in 1994 and The Parc (Princess Anne Convocation Center) in the late 1990s.

As a part of Surgical Tech Week, SCC Surgical Tech students participated in an outdoor demonstration on the beautiful campus green to learn the proper way to dress and undress for surgery.
Virginia State Police stand guard outside Norris Hall, where 31 people were shot and killed on the campus of Virginia Tech, April 17, 2007 in Blacksburg, Virginia. The perpetrator, Seung-Hui Cho, killed 32 people and wounded many others before committing suicide. The massacre is the deadliest peacetime shooting incident by a single gunman in United States history, on or off a school campus. (DCS 2418)
