Here's a nice overview of the Oktoberfest funfair with the giant Ferris wheel and various other attractions in the background. However, due to the autumn breeze I fear the foreground is just as much an attraction as the background. A sudden gust of wind lifts my Dirndl dress miniskirt and apron, just at the moment when this photo is snapped. Oopsy, completely unintended but a welcome extra funfair attraction I guess.
My next door neighbors have always had Basset Hounds.
Through the years, my outdoor cats have learned to avoid the area over near the fence because as soon as the dogs see the cats they start carrying on.
The cats understand that the dogs can't get to them through the fence, however they find the high pitched barking and whining more than a little annoying, so are inclined to keep their distance.
Everybody but Floydd!
He is an instigator. He knows exactly what he's doing.
When he see's one of the dogs over near the fence, he will casually saunter over toward the fence. The dog near the fence will put up the alarm, and the next thing you know all four hounds are plastered up against the fence.
Not at all intimidated with the barking, Floydd will get up as close as possible, and just stare at them, like "Nah, nah! You can't get me you stupid dogs!"
Oh yes! He knows exactly what he's doing, the little stinker.
Sure hope the fence holds up!!
A teasing outfit, the dress has a lovely snakeskin style feel to it (care to touch?) and combined with ff stockings and heels, gives a classy but naughty look depending on the position i am in, sure these pics help to illustrate. First of all, thanks again for 100 followers! To celebrate, I've decided to hold a contest. In this contest, you must...
Make a minifigure based solely off the name of someone you are following. You can't look at their profile picture for reference, or their Sig fig(if they have one) or any pictures they've posted. Just look at the name and bring it to life. For example, if I were to make TheMooseFigs, I could take a picture of tons of figures with moose heads. Get the picture?
Rules:
-There is a limit of 3 minifigures. If you upload more than that, I will only look at the first 3.
-Flickr users only. Make a minifigure of Pewdiepie and I won't judge it.
-Nothing mean or innapropriate. Don't make a figure that would hurt that person's feelings, or make them look bad. A bit of light teasing is probably okay(depending on what it is) but don't make them dying or something.
-All entries must be uploaded to the group called "Evolved Turtle's 100 follower minifig contest" by September 1st.

Fresh snow and fog teases Tunnel Viewers, hiding and then revealing its prime attractions, Half Dome and Bridalveil Fall. just before sunrise.
I've just added a "Yosemite Snow" album to gather all my winter shots from Yosemite together in one place. There's also a new "Yosemite Sun" album for non-winter shots.
In wine, there's truth, wine makes all things possible, wine is bottled poetry. A wine glass without wine never looks as beautiful as when there is wine in it and...the glass of wine I've drunk is beginning to take a few corners off the world...
Looking from a distance and height, these minimonsters look like slugs. They have the beach for themselves and we are not allowed to interact with them. What would happen if I teased them? It will take them a long time to figure out who called them.

Now I will later on get onto how different this cycle is, because trust me, a lot has changed. But yes, I will get to that later. For now lets get onto the important part...
In this photo there is 22 rookie hopefuls, we need your help to narrow them down to 16. So all you have to do is comment your top 8 girls down below. Each girl's total will get added up and the girls with the highest totals will make it into the final cast. BUT the judges are aloud to have a wild card each for if a girl they think has potential does not make the public's cut, they can swap her in and get rid of another girl.

The sultan's daughter paced nervously along the training yard. She knew it, and annoyed her like a buzzing fly in her ear.
A man danced through her thoughts.
This was a physical contact training session, some of the most intense and rapidly-paced work she could do, yet she was dressed up in her silks! Makeup applied meticulously, hair tied back and braided, and so much jewelry! Her feet tapped along the stone as nervousness ran threw her, enough to make her throw the training sword in frustration . . .
. . . launching it into the firm, waiting hand of her new instructor.
He chuckled, tossing it back to her, "I brought mine. Here, we need to focus on your stances."
Long, warm moments passed between her and this new instructor. He was not some short-tempered drill instructor, or a grouch who barked at her and constantly threatened to tell her father if she said something out of place.
No, this instructor, this man . . . was different.
He stood beside her, towering over her like a bronze god. Muscles and markings, handsome and dangerous.
"The grip must hold firm, yet fluid and able to move freely. Like your silks."
The words made her blush immediately. He was looking at her. At her body.
Her posture straightened, every breath softly trembling with longing and fire, hanging on his every word. As her eyes fluttered, a hard CRACK broke her trance; his training sword knocked against hers, "You're distracted, princess."
A shake of her head moved her braid about as she tried to regain her senses, "You underestimate me, Sir. I'm not some inexperienced child playing with a stick."
She smiled, stepping forward and turning on the ball of her foot, feeling such pride and energy as the view that caught his eye walked before him. A few steps away, her practice blade and aroused voice raised to challenge him, "Three rounds. to the first blow. Let me show you what I can do!"
The man smiled back in turn and raised an eyebrow, "Strike you? This'll sting, you know."
She raised an eyebrow in turn, smiling back and readying her stance with a flirtatious smile, "You've gotta touch me first . . . "
Place your bets! Who will take best of three; the sultan's daughter or the handsome Marcos Scatter?
Tease of Winter. It is as if Winter is taunting just a bit with measurable snow in the not-so-distant hills, with the feels of Fall within its sniffing distance - effects of the warmer tidal waters of the proximate Bay of Fundy I suspect. Beautiful while it lasts, which I expect our luck will soon pass and a ‘Winter Wonderland’ will return.
"We're gettin' a touch of Springtime (or rather Mother Nature is teasing us) with temps in the
70's all this week! And if the weatherman is wrong he'll be hearing from me! :) May get a
few showers thrown in for good measure....but, hey, warm rain is good for the soul! God
only knows what waits around the corner though. The biggest snow storm I ever remember
down here was on March 31st!" whew
