Driving home this afternoon the high cloud kept appearing and fading out, promising much but probably going to rush off as the sun set...

After dinner I 'gave in' to the little voice and ducked over to Boonerah Point .. Just on spec...

The sun didn't quite get under that cloud.. still it had a couple of moments worth taking in.

It's not spring yet, but you wouldn't know it from the looks of the lower foothills. The hillsides are turning green and the oaks are starting to show their spring coats. It won't be long before the ranchers start grazing their cattle here. It's a double win scenario--feed for the cattle and weed control for fire prevention measures. Everything working in harmony--just as it should be. Meanwhile I'm going to enjoy the way it looks now, until the blazing summer sun turns the hillsides to gold.

This is my first attempt at a boudoir kind of shot. It's not easy! I wish we had tried more poses because it was really fun (for me, anyway). I'd love to try more in the future.

This was the very first pose we did. You'd think we'd warm up with the fashion shots first but since my friend Susan made the girls up in the master bathroom we decided to shoot the boudoir shots in the master bedroom first.

I call this Petal-Art.

The strip-tease.

They curve and twist in a gorgeous way.

I have wild yellow poppies in the garden, they are the most ephemeral of flowers.

Everything has to be ready before you bring them in, bang, a few photographs, put them in water, in no time the pretty heads are hanging.

Then the petals start their final dance, they curve and twist in a gorgeous way.

The colour changes from yellow to ochre to orange...

When I came in the next morning, the petals had dropped off and the seed-box and stamens stood naked.

Ending with a golden firework!
