David Austen roses. Divinely pretty with a heavenly heady perfume.

These are not ours. I'm just deciding which ones to order for our garden.

The fountain created by Gregor von Bochmann in 1909 was donated to the city of Düsseldorf. The city had it built in front of the Görres High School. The fountain consists of a water basin framed by an artistically designed natural stone balustrade and a bronze sculpture that rises on a pedestal in the middle of the basin. The sculpture depicts two boys, an older boy giving water to a younger boy from a jug. Both figures were originally depicted unclothed, but the older boy was later given a loincloth because his nakedness caused offence. The fountain is a listed object.

Strokkur is a consistent geyser, erupting every few minutes. In between eruptions, however, it is a tease -- it pulsates regularly, leading a casual observer to think an eruption is imminent. This clip shows Strokkur's false starts. Cut down due to size restrictions, all these pulses occurred between two eruptions.

She kept telling me I was teasing her. I showed her what real teasing was. ;)

Janelle is such a fun lady to shoot with - we've done several shoots over the years. She has such a classic beauty about her and she actually listens to me. These photos are from the Romance Sunday group shoot we did in Star, Idaho in January 2020.

Here are some of my favorites from a recent shoot we did with the lovely Mariah at the Idaho Capitol Building. This is such a cool place to shoot - it's very classy and dignified. Mariah brought her game to this shoot - looking confident, sweet, and sassy. All in all a very fun shoot. Hopefully she's still talking to me so we can do some more shoots!

I took these photos in December 2019.

What a fun photo shoot! I'm still scraping off the rust from an unplanned hiatus from portrait shooting so it's been fun getting back in the groove. I had a chance to shoot with the lovely Nelly, a recent transplant to the Boise area. She is a lovely young lady - very photogenic and creative. I see this as being the first of many shoots with her - nothing wrong with that!

We did this shoot in August 2015 in Freak Alley in downtown Boise, ID.
