Mini teacup hat, made from my own pattern.
This was so much fun to make, it's just ridiculously cute and silly and fun <3
Close-up of something that amazed me as a child. The geisha in the bottom of the teacup really showed up well with dregs of tea or coffee. When I get time, I plan to replace this with one that really shows her off.
I had my mirror out in the living room because I was doing something dress-related (can't remember what now) and after I was done the mirror was still there. While I was drinking my tea as I got ready for bed I looked in the mirror and saw how odd the pose my legs and fingers were in was. Then I got out my camera and duplicated the pose, minus my face which had been facing the mirror before (whithout which I wouldn't have been able to see the odd pose, duh). Basically, this is what I do in my spare time. The sweatshirt is a Trinity College (Dublin, not DC) sweatshirt and the shorts are my blue plaid boxers.
a cup of tea on the veranda, with the last of the Christmas mince pies, and perhaps a piece of fruit as well. Ah, life is tough.
My latest soy candle in a teacup :-) With a background of a fab vintage pillowcase that I found at the charity shop.
