Component 2: Broad Source Light

Teacups and dishes in my wife's hutch.

I just love taking pictures of the Teacups ride. It's so colorful and people always look so happy when on it.

I was impressed by how sparkling new and clean it looks. It's more than 50 years old but the paint looks brand-new and it doesn't look like years of layers, either. So bright and clean.

My cat Ralph's little sister and yes, that is a teacup sized cup! She was adoped by my friends and is doing great.

Another display in Red Velvet Shop

This is a birthday gift for a friend who likes miniatures. I thought I would combine her love of vintage china, sewing and miniatures and make a Hat Pincushion. She will have to provide the hat pins as I haven't been able to find any since the lockdown.

I hand painted and decorated the fabric and then added purchased miniature flowers.

The Colclough (John told me how much it cost and I couldn't believe it!) and The Royal Standard. I think I'm turning into an old lady. I'll have to purchase a rain cap and blue hair rinse. They must call this gramma chic--knitting, tea, tissue up the sleeve... what's next?......

This is my teacup that's exclusively for drinking non-milk type teas. Why? I have no idea ... it just is.

Tiny roses are blooming and new growth can be seen in the potted rosebush in the garden.

this is why i'm not a photo editor. i can't pick just one.

The lovely teacups. Milie, Nick's girlfriend, looks about.

Art deco style in an old-fashioned Teacup ride. At Funland, on the boardwalk in Rehoboth Delaware

This first teacup was a real challenge! Lots of mistakes and unpicking! But in the end it looks great! The second one was a breeze once I got my head around it, absolutely loved this project!

Much better if viewed large on white! Click here!

I had to do a project in my photography class modeled off the work of Bernd and Hilla Becher. If you're unfamiliar with their work, they would shoot similar shots of similar objects such as houses or burn furnaces. They'd frame them in a way similar to this to showcase the differences in the objects. I decided to do some of the teacups from my teacup collection. I think it turned out better than I expected! I'm so excited!

Constructive Criticism Appreciated.

One of my favorite garden goodies.

the teacups at dl

as the door opened and I peeked inside I saw this

We were the first ones on the teacups.

My tiny teacup during the tea ceremony demonstration. I drank a lot of tea.

One of two shots of the teacups in mid-spin.

Just walking by and thought that these would look perfect through my 10-20mm Sigma. I was right, they did. Now, I am not saying that i CAPTURED them perfectly, but they sure looked good when I was standing there! :)

Made some teacup candles today from teacups I found at Value Village. I enjoyed making them, I think I will do this again.

I wrote a little tutorial on how I made them here.
