Teacups are an absolute amazing ride for little kids. I personally like to watch, but not ride. The motion is a little over the top for me.
This shot makes a great lockscreen on my phone. Enjoy!
On the walk home around my neighbourhood in Spring time. September 15, 2015 Christchurch New Zealand.
a preliminary small shoot i did today as an idea for me still life....
have to smash the teacup eventually, which will be upsetting. also i need to find some oversized teabags.
A steaming and colorful rug/mat that was hand hooked. Someone didn't want it so they took to Kent Recycle Center in Carmel,NY and it can be yours free!
Porcelain teacups in the traditional Chinese style of rice pattern. This delicate pattern gets its name from grains of rice embedded in the clay before firing. The grains are destroyed in the firing and leave the translucent porcelain windows which allow the light to filter through.
This teacup is too good to hang with the other teacups on the actual Teacup ride.
I'll admit it, out of all the rides I was really looking forward to spinning myself silly on the historical piece of psychedelia that could only be The Mad Tea Party. Alas, it was not to be.
Even Maddison was intimidated by the sheer length of the line...she figured she'd be getting her driver's license before we even reached the halfway point.
Found at value village... bought for an online class that I will be releasing soon. One of the projects will be a teacup pincushion :)
one of the best things about sunny days... chilling in the garden. i love the red picnic blanket, my mum's had it since she went to boarding school!
I made these Teacup Decos for my grand-daughter, Sophia's 1st birthday on 10th April. The theme was a vintage teaparty and these teacups decorated the wall by the main table. Everything looked so pretty.
Active Assignment Weekly. Flash.
I'm not sure if this meets the Assignment requirements: 'Restriction: The flash or strobe you use must be the primary light source, even if it’s just being used as fill light. The sun can be out and the lamps can be on, but they must not over-power your flash/strobe." The sun actually overpowers the fill flash in my opinion. I'm very weak in this area so thought I'd play with the flash in the bright of day.
Taken at high noon (with a polarizing filter). Used fill-flash to minimize shadow. Slight cropping and levels adjustment.
