My first attempt making gumpaste teacups! THANK YOU to Jacque Benson for being a major inspiration!!! While I do not have Jacque's painting skills... I am actually quite happy with this first attempt.
Many thanks to Jane for showing me this tiny porcelain unicorn on eBay! (The cup is of course one of my miniature Coalport cups, that's how small he is)

this was my contest entry for the 2009 NCA cake show in VA. The cookie cups are standing upright (perpendicular) to the cookie saucers. The cookie spoons are slightly rounded.
This is my prototype before I made several more for a pin cushion swap. I think I have it figured out now and will get it written down. They are kind of addicting to create!

I reduced my Parsley and Beet pattern by 50% to make this teensy elephant. If you want to give it a go just reduce your seam allownace especially around the trunk !

For a year now I had in mind to take some photos of my critters in my grandma's old teacups - I just own mugs ^_^
So when I was there and saw the teacups I snatched my little darling fellow and took some photos <3
I chose this one cause I liked it best ... wow - it was quite some work - didn't know my granny has a teacup-collection *rollseyes*
cute little Petal actually looked quite content in it :)
The spinning teacups are totally my favorite.
