Why do the new dolls click when you bend their legs? I noticed it with Bunny too. Gives me a fright every time but they seem OK. o_O

I am so in love with these. They were super fun to make, and I love the way they turned out.

I love these little wooden teacups!

I've painted them in shades of blue and white, and added a little floral blue and white Wedgewood-style motif to each one.

Each teacup measures approx. H - 1.5", W-2.6" (H - 3.75 cm, W - 6.5 cm )

Today, September 7, 2008 is the "last day" for Astroland Park in Coney Island. Astroland Owner Carol Hill Albert sold the property to Thor Equities in 2006 for $30 million. The park will be redeveloped as condos and a "Las Vegas" style amusement park. Last year was supposed to be the last year and at the last minute negotiation took place and Astroland was open for one more season. The rides will be up for sale and Carol Albert says that she needs to be out of there by January, 2009. If there's another extension we can all go back next year and document the last day again.

And of course, their tails are entwined into a love heart!

So when I was there and saw the teacups I snatched my little darling fellow and took some photos <3

I chose this one cause I liked it best ... wow - it was quite some work - didn't know my granny has a teacup-collection *rollseyes*
