My latest pot luck, using more unusual veg (those I can't get hold of so often). Kole Rabi, Fennel & Chard. And No, there are no spuds in there, for a change. he, he.
I decided to do a lighter version than my usual creations, no Marmite at all. Used a chicken stock instead of my usual beef (not that it's ever seen a cow).LOL Also, added Parsley & Tarragon too (for a change); I think it worked well but I'll know for sure when I check to see if my Son liked it.

Our kids grew up being coached in calligraphy on January 2 by their grandmother, and she was a hard taskmaster in those days, keeping the kids at it all day until they had produced something worthy enough, in Obaachan's opinion, to submit to school. Now she's no longer nearly so demanding, the kids recall the torture she put them through with fondness.
