The city Innenstadt is surrounded by a 3 kilometres (2 miles) long earthen wall which was constructed by a traveling master fortress builder named Andreas. The city council (Rat) of Duderstadt contracted with Andreas in 1506 to build the wall. Since the surrounding farmers were also to be protected by the wall, the Rat conscripted them to work on the construction of the wall. Andreas was reportedly a cruel taskmaster, and the farmers detested him. They soon also blamed the citizens of Duderstadt for their woes, and took to calling all of them "Anreischke", after Andreas, which was pronounced "Anreis" in the "platt" (low) German spoken by the farmers.

The citizens of Duderstadt, in turn, had a wooden bust of Andreas constructed and attached to a clockwork. Every two hours since then, the wooden "Anreischke" would come out and nod to the farmers coming to market, to remind them of the detested Andreas, and of their dependency on the city.

That wooden Anreischke nods until this day from the Rathaus tower at 9 am, 11, 1 pm, 3, 5 and 7.

For many generations the Anasazi were hard taskmasters over the Diné, forcing them to carry wood and corn on their backs for long distances and perform menial acts of service. Eventually, a large and handsome man came from the east, appearing to 'rise out of where the sky and earth join together. He carried with him a long rod or staff. When he came amongst the Diné, he saw how they were being treated by the people who dwelt in the stone houses in the cliffs north of the San Juan River and he was very much displeased.' he told them to stop this harsh treatment, but they replied they were 'the greatest people in the world' and would do as they pleased. The stranger counselled the Diné that at the next moon they should prepare a feast of turkeys, rabbits, corn, paper bread, and other delicacies and serve it at places on the south bank of the San Juan and Little Colorado rivers. They sent runners to the cliff dwellers, who were 'great gluttons' and responded in large numbers. 'They were first to cross from along the north bank of the San Juan River as the feast was spread along the south bank for a distance of about four miles, and as the horde of cliff dwellers came forward to take part in the feast, they rushed to cross the river.' The stranger waited until they were in the middle of the river, then raised his arm to the level of his chest, twice waved his rod, and uttered some magic words. The Anasazi turned into fish instantly. He then faced westward and southwestward, pointed his rod in each direction, said the same magic words, and all the remaining cliff dwellers were struck with lockjaw and paralysis of the arms and the legs. They died within four days. By then, the Diné had eaten the feast they had prepared.

♫ The Lumineers | Pretty Pictures in My Mind ♫

From L-R: Ajax, Black Panther (Unmasked), Wade Wilson, and Taskmaster.

L to R - Whirlwind, Taskmaster, The Wizard, and The Trapster.

Whirlwind - You've seen him before.

Taskmaster - Came up with this torso idea and I think it looks pretty good.

The Wizard - Finally this pink helmet has a use.

The Trapster - Nothing to special about this guy.

You'll be seeing these guys soon enough. ;)

Reaper's head could work really well for a Spider-Man PS4 version of Taskmaster

Soldier 76's hair looks great for the Collector

Reinhardt's head and hair will work well for Odin.

Reinhardt's torso would work well for an Iron Man Mark 1 (unless you're like me and custom make your own)

Finally, Reaper comes with a new trenchcoat piece, which can be used on so many characters, but the first one I thought of was Blade.

This was not easy to do, hence why I came up with so few ideas, but I hope you guys like them!

Fred takes his lessons very seriously. Daisy is a tireless taskmaster!

Paintbrush (Castilleja sp.), Cow Parsnip (Heracleum maximum), False Hellebore (Veratrum californicum), and purple composites (Asteraceae) gather in the shadows of late afternoon near the lower Ice Lake basin, San Juan Mountains, Colorado.

The San Juans attract a good number of visitors for the hiking, wildflowers, incredible topography, and for some, the numerous tracks open to ORV use. This particular trail requires that only muscle power be used for the ascent. To gain the lowest lake in the basin, the trail rises 1,900 feet (580 m) in 2 miles (3.2 km), proving true that the mountains are a stern taskmaster, requiring one to wear the legs out in order to give the backside a ride.

Visitation this year appears extremely high, most likely because people are not flying to cities for vacation and are choosing to camp instead due to COVID. One result is that we went searching for a first-come-first-served campsite at mid-day on a Tuesday and were unable to find a single official campsite available. I am the first to admit that this trip came together at the last minute and was therefore hastily planned; nonetheless, it seems that spontaneity and U.S. National Forest camping may be mutually exclusive for the time being. Fortunately, there are quite a few places where one can simply pull off to the side of the road and pitch a tent, so we did not go lacking for a place to sleep. However, I did neglect to bring both our small table and a shovel, so certain cooking and biological necessities were more challenging than they really needed to be. The laundry list of first-world problems can get frighteningly long...

Thanks for looking and I hope people are staying safe and healthy!

So here they some bad guys!

Zemo: erased the mouth, I think he's my favourite of the bunch

Radioactive Man: Brainiac with no dots

Taskmaster: The face idea wasn’t mine (he's tagged )

Kraven: not 100% happy with him. Maybe I’ll change the body.

Claw: Yust the right face for him was a big problem but I think Filchs works well!

Hope you like them and PLEASE COMMENT!

I've actually been working on August for a while, but I only finished him yesterday. Also an entry to Harrison Hill's contest, because I have a habit of entering things on the last day :P

I've seen a few Godspeed customs, but inexplicably, no one has made August Heart yet. Why?! He has the coolest speedster costume ever!

Anyhow. I made August's goggles, lightning bolts, jacket bottom, and shoes with e-tape.

For Godspeed, I used e-tape to cover the mouth on a Taskmaster head, and for his chest lightning and lines.

I wanted to make Meena, too, but I'm having a lot of trouble with her, so I didn't include her here. I hope to complete her in the future, though!

Well, let me know what you think!

After the fierce battle, Legate Mark led his troops straight towards the Tylisian city of Lampsacus. Having no walls and no troops, the helpless citizens wisely offered no resistance to the blue-clad northerners.

Because of this, Mark gave strict orders that no loot was to be taken and no one was to be injured. The questionably loyal troops obeyed their orders with only a few grumbles.

Mark ascended the stairs of the massive temple and addressed the populace thus.

"People of Lampsacus, today is a day for celebration! You have been freed from your taskmasters in Tylis. I know that there has been ill-will between yourselves and your mother city. The taxes they extracted from you allowed them to enrich themselves and their island, even this grand temple behind me was built by the fruits of your labor. We Pierians are not unfair judges. To help you recover from the excesses of war, you shall be free of all taxes for the next year! No garrison shall be placed over you and you shall be free to build mighty walls to protect yourselves. We shall now depart for our own territory. If you feel threatened by any foe send word to Lycaonia and the legions of the trident shall come to your aid."

The bewildered crowd gave sigh of relief and some even cheered.

As the Pierians got ready to leave, Labienus rushed to Mark's side.

"Legate, is this a wise course of action!? So much freedom?! And all so quickly?! What will the Senate say?!"

Mark smiled at his flustered friend.

"Calm yourself, Labienus. Surely this is the wisest course of action! Were we harsh with them, they would immediately rebel as they have many times against Tylis. No, the only way to control them is to treat them with kindness and mercy. Afterwards they shall become our allies. The enemy is more hurt by desertion than by slaughter."

Labienus stood for a minute perplexed, then shook his head and sighed in resignation.

"If you think this is the wisest course, I shall follow your orders."

Mark good-naturedly slapped the tribune on the shoulder.

"Good! And don't worry, I have recently received word that the Tylisians have just landed near Alezaria. And that Legio II Aquarius is in need of help. You no longer need trouble yourself over the concept of benevolent government, I trust."

Labienus' face brightened at the thought of more battles with Tylis.

"I think that shall keep me fully occupied, Sir!"

To Be Continued! (Someday!)

Man, I really like that building in the center. ;)

I'm going to be really busy the next few weeks so the series will take a pause for now. I'll still be around, and hopefully I'll get a few LoR Mocs built for my buddies. ;)

Fourth Wall Commentary:

I've had this build for a long time now actually. I finally decided to take some photos and post it. Very happy with the end result. My first Lego train MOC and my first of what will hopefully be many more Daredevil Marvel MOC's... now I just need Lego to bring out an official Daredevil figure so that I don't need to buy custom ones :P

Exodus 3:1 Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb.

Exo 3:2 And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.

Exo 3:3 And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.

Exo 3:4 And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.

Exo 3:5 And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.

Exo 3:6 Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.

Exo 3:7 And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;

Exo 3:8 And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.

Based on Aaron Beck's art for World War Machine here.

I made the cabal using sporadic users lineup,

L-R: green goblin( trying out more of a helmet design), kilmonger( still improving), Loki, taskmaster( masked look)

Top: Agatha, magneto( ik Magenta isn’t the most ideal color but I was just experimenting)

For some reason, I had the idea to make a dark, somewhat disturbing photo of Punisher beating the shayte out of someone. I picked Taskmaster, because why the hell not. Frank be kicking ass and taking names. So, yea.

So yea I decided to give some cool shots of this fig and here he is in a more battle looking stance( ik the black stripes on the shield look rlly bad and that will be improved upon)

3rd and Final entry into the Summer Joust this year. Not overly pleased with this one, but what should I expect with a 5 day build.

C&C Appreciated!

To Jesus Christ my Lord and Saviour be the Glory!

So here is the last taskmaster photo and here he is on a small jetpack build with a gun that was inspired by the jetpack he has in the square enix game.

In conclusion this fig was fun to make sure If I had a better variety of parts he would've looked much better not sayin anything there but im pretty happy with what I could come up with. Now I prolly won' be taking this many pics of one character in the future. as I did find out its a lot of work even if the amount of pics is small.

Because of the hype from the new game from Insomniac, I was inspired to make some figures based on various designs. From L to R:

Tombstone: I feel like the Zane hairpiece is perfect for this guy, but since I don't have that piece, I went with this one.

Prowler: This guy came together pretty well, considering I threw him together to complete this group.

Hydro-Man: I used the back side of the Mr. Freeze torso and the hip piece from the CMF Clockwork Robot.

Taskmaster: I wanted to incorporate some orange into his suit, and this is what I came up with. I bet the dual-molded Marge Simpson arms would look good on him but I don’t have those.

Shocker: He's a little unorthodox, but I like him. If I could fix one thing about him, I would make the colors blend a little better.

Vulture: Very proud of this one. The Vision body works super well.

Sorry for the absence these past couple of days, i'm going to take a break with the DCAU stuff as i feel i've been doing a little to much of it recently, so coming back i see that i've hit 100 followers! that's amazing to me, thank you all very much! not sure what i'd want to do for this occasion but i might think of something fun to do with a reward, anyways here's some new and improved figures, enjoy.

L to R:

Deathstroke: this is pretty basic but i think it looks very nice.

Parts: Deathstroke Head, Legs, and torso, with Ninjago armor, Ultron Arms, and Mr Incredible Crotch(?) piece.

Silver Banshee: i was finally able to complete this figure, i can't believe no ones done this combo before, it works very well.

Parts: Taskmaster Head, Orca Body, and Syndrome Arms and legs.

Katana: i got this new hair piece which i think works well, i also wanted to give the trench coat a try.

Parts: Friends Hair, Katana head, and body, and Black trench coat

Left to Right

Happy Hogan:

Fig Formula- Venkman hair, StarWars head, Ultra Agents torso

Moon Knight: Really like this one

Fig Formula- TaskMaster hood, Nexo Knight head, Star Wars torso, Cpaper cape

Man Wolf: Had this guy for a while...kind of

Fig Formula- CMF 14 Wolf head, CMF 12 Life Guard torso

Couple of Marvel Comics baddies. Nothing you haven't seen before. Sorry bout the shadows in the pic and overall kinda low quality. I'm not a photographer what do you want from me

Kraven the Hunter: Same fig as usual just with Taserface hair.

The Kingpin: Same one TheMooseFigs made. Just added the CMF chef arms to represent his cufflinks and a whisk for when he makes his omelettes. Also, Ddaredevil Season 3 was amazing.

Taskmaster: Same one from the last pic but with a blue hood so he's more comic accurate than USM cartoon accurate.

Let me know what you guys think! :D

These have little correlation to each other, they're just some characters I wanted to try and make.

Cavalier: CMF Swashbuckler hat, Will Turner head, POTC Cook torso, LotR legs.

Dr. Destiny: as seen in Serious House on Serious Earth. Darth Vader head, CMF Alien torso.

Livewire: The fig that prompted this set. Painted blue mohawk, Harley head, Reverse Thor torso, painted legs. My favorite of these.

Silver Banshee: Taskmaster head, Syndrome torso/arms/legs.

Ares: CMF Roman Soldier mohawk-thing, Nexo Knights helmet/armor/ torso/legs. Moltor Head.

Who's your favorite? let me know down below.

Finally another Marvel pic, this time I made 2 minifigs from Marvel Comics and 2 from the MCU😀

Left to right :

Squirrel Girl : Head from Jessie, torso from Bard.

Pyro : Hair from Junkrat, head from Rebel Pilot A-wing.

Ronin Hood from Time Twin.

Taskmaster Legs from Iron Patriot.

So JBrix made an awesome comic book inspired with again a oversized bow and I felt inspired to make my own taskmaster and try a new bow design using minifig hands and arms

Now ik a lot of ppl on flickr kinda hate my brickbuilt bows as they look " weird" and I can see that the proportions of some lego parts do look oversized at times and they don't fit the measurements of the specified object but I mean come on whats the harm in tryna find new ways of making pre molded lego parts.
