WEEK 7 – Mansfield, OH, Target (I)
Let's turn back to the entry corridor, though, before we head any further, lest we forget about it, haha! The biggest differences I found to Horn Lake (which, fair warning, I will likely be incessantly comparing this store to!) were all clustered up here near the vestibule. As you saw before, Bullseye's Playground and the restrooms are located along the right-side wall of the store (behind me and to my left in this viewpoint); also, guest services are actually accessible from the salesfloor (versus the vestibule only).

SET 2 – Horn Lake Target, October 2019 Tour
As we take our first look down the rear actionway at the Horn Lake Target now that we’ve passed by all the apparel departments, the carpeted flooring gives way for nice, clean tile and the famous red stripe, traveling all the way over to the store’s left-hand wall off in the distance. The pet care department is most immediately adjacent to me on my right, with storage bins on my left. There’s nothing particularly special about it, but I think it’s precisely that fact that makes me like this picture so much :)

Bell Aerosystems artist John J. Carr’s 1963/64 depiction of rendezvous & docking of a Gemini spacecraft and Gemini Agena Target Vehicle in earth orbit, with a beckoning moon in the "background".
In most instances, which aren't a whole lot, a view of earth, from a north polar perspective, is instead featured ‘in the distance’, and circling it, the converging orbital tracks of the two vehicles are depicted, as in the linked example (and below):

This then appears to be an even rarer version by Mr. Carr, instead depicting the moon - the eventual destination.
And since the artwork was primarily a promotion of Bell Aerosystem's contribution to the effort, in this case, the Agena Target Vehicle's restartable XLR81 engine, it features prominently in the foreground of the perspective rendering of the two vehicles.

Fine percussion schuetzen target rifle made by George Beuttenmuller, Chicago, Illinois. Born in Wurttemburg, Germany in 1811, George Beuttenmuller first appears in Chicago City Directories in 1853. He continued to be listed as a gunsmith in Chicago Directories, at various addresses, through 1893.
Rifles such as this one were used in offhand target matches at 200 yards. The barrel has fast twist rifling and was intended for a bullet rather than a round ball.

A paratrooper from C Company, 3rd Battalion Parachute Regiment (3 PARA) fires at a target on Otterburn ranges in Northumberland.
Paratroopers competed against each other to be the best, while celebrating one of The Parachute Regiment's heroes.
The McKay VC Competition saw sections from 3rd Battalion The Parachute Regiment (3 PARA) put through paces around the arduous terrain of the Otterburn Ranges in Northumbria. The contest saw troops in full battle rig take part in a 15km night navigation exercise including stands testing their signalling, medical and parachute packing skills; an assault course; and live fire section attacks.
The competition honours the memory of Sergeant Ian McKay, who was awarded a posthumous Victoria Cross for his "outstanding selflessness, perseverance and courage" during the Falklands War in 1982. Sgt McKay VC was killed during the assault on Mount Longdon when he attacked an Argentine position alone and under heavy fire.

Bugarra - València
Situado en la cuenca del río Turia, en la vertiente norte de la sierra de Chiva. La superficie del término es muy accidentada y montañosa. Las alturas más importantes son: Alto de Roger, Bastos, Aliagar, Tajudo, Fuente y Pinada . En la parte norte del término hay una extensa meseta. El Turia cruza de oeste a este y drenan el término el barranco de la Fuente y Marjuela.
El clima es templado. Los vientos dominantes son cierzo y el poniente. El viento denominado localmente tortosino provoca las lluvias, de otoño a primavera. El pueblo está situado en la margen izquierda del río Turia, en las vertientes de la Peña Roya. hay una zona de baño en el río excelente. cercano al camping
Se accede a esta localidad, desde Valencia, tomando la CV-35 para enlazar con la CV-376 y luego la CV-377. Otro trayecto, quizá mejor, es tomar la carretera Madrid a Cheste; de ahí, dirección Liria saliendo de Cheste, y cogiendo hacia Pedralba la CV-380 y de Pedralba a Bugarra.
