Cantaloupe with Tanqueray Gin, Honeydew, Pistachio

sorry about all of the blank expression close-ups as of late... feeling a bit uninspired, but ah, all things must pass... i know it comes in cycles so here's hoping (/expecting) the photo mojo will return soon!

An Amalgam of time and place, personal

Another night out on the street

Stopping for my usual seat

Oh, bartender, please

Tanqueray and tonic's my favorite drink

I don't like anything colored pink

That just stinks...it's not for me

It feels like somebody put something

Somebody put something in my drink...

Blurred vision and dirty thoughts

Feel (out of place), very distraught

Feel something coming on

Kick the jukebox, slam the floor

Drink, drink, drink, drink some more

I can't think

Hey! What's in this drink?

It feels like somebody put something

Somebody put something in my drink

So you think it's funny

A college prank

Goin' insane for something to drink

Feel a little dry

Oh, I couldn't care what you think of me

Cause somebody put something in my drink

I can't think

Hey! Give me a drink

It feels like somebody put something

Somebody put something in my drink

Somebody put something

Somebody put something in my drink..

Tanqueray No. 10, named after the stills of its origin, is small batch gin crafted using fresh citrus fruits.

The end of yet another working week and as you can see, absolutely no effort went into tonight's refreshments. TGIF to all of my flickr friends, thank you for your friendship, inspiration and creative commenting. ♡ Cheers!

Liquor (also hard liquor, hard alcohol, spirit, or distilled drink) is an alcoholic drink produced by distillation of grains, fruit, or vegetables that have already gone through alcoholic fermentation. The distillation process purifies the liquid and removes diluting components like water, for the purpose of increasing its proportion of alcohol content (commonly expressed as alcohol by volume, ABV). As liquors contain significantly more alcohol, they are considered "harder" – in North America, the term hard liquor is used to distinguish distilled alcoholic drinks from non-distilled ones [Wikipedia]

It had been a while since I made one of my “Gins” pictures. I must have bumped the camera just before I took it because the bottom left wasn’t meant to be out of focus, and the gins were meant to be centered. The rear standard must not have been tightened well enough. I present it here only to point out the surprisingly good bokeh that the 152mm Kodak Ektars have. It is a press lens from a Speed Graphic that I bought, and then sold, but I kept the lens because the shutter didn’t work. I later had it repaired. I’m going to have to use it more often.

Camera: Sinar Alpina 4x5

Lens: 152mm Kodak Ektar

which one will it be ???

just look at these prices... the peso is 13.0590 to $1.00 US

Besides the "fairies" arrangement and the "wedding" themed floral arrangements at the Tulip Extravaganza last Saturday, this one was also one of my faves. I guess you might say I liked them all. :-) I realized that I didn't take a full view of this "arrangement" as I had "focused" in more on the drinks. LOL! Anyhoo, Happy Friday to all of you. It's been a rather hectic week both at the work and home front so I'm still trying to catch up with all of you . . . Take care and have a great weekend!! Hugs! Lulu

I'm finding images within the house due to this lock down at this present time. Its actually making me more creative having time on my hands and also a confined space to work from.

I met a gin-soaked, bar-room queen in Memphis

She tried to take me upstairs for a ride

She had to heave me right across her shoulder

'Cause I just can't seem to drink you off my mind...

INT. BEDROOM - 54th STREET. NIGHT

Harvey stands at the door way gazing down at her. Still holding onto his bags Harvey doesn't say a word. He lets his eyes drift from her shoes to the lines of her stockings and leaves it to hang on the shadows of her legs. And with a subconcious nudge he closes the bedroom door with a kick.

The Bull Inn at Llangollen was refaced with terracotta in 1908. The LLB above the bull's head is thought to represent the Llangollen Brewery. The building is listed Grade II

William Morgan recorded at the Llangollen Brewery in 1835. By 1870 owned by J S Tanqueray, who was a partner in Combe & Co. Ltd, London, until 1869 when he opened a brewery off New Oxford Street, then moved to Llangollen. The brewery was sold in 1919 and converted into a milk and cheese factory. A later attempt to re-establish the brewery was not realised. The pubs were acquired by F. W. Soames & Co. Ltd of Wrexham.

With the body, tail, and back legs of a lion, the head and wings of an eagle and an eagle's talons as its front feet, the griffin was thought to be king of all creatures throughout ancient history…

So of course he needs to imbibe in the king of all cocktails…
