Stairs or steps however you call them , subject for SSC this week but this shot is nearly eleven years old so not to be used .
This is the way down to the beach at Alum Bay on the Isle of Wight - and I should add only a fraction of the steps to get from top to bottom !!!
One can also go down by cable car in open seats and that is what I wanted to do . BUT !! Due to high winds it was not operating for safety reasons - I have never got back there to have a ride on the cable cars , the view from them looking out on the Needles is supposed to be very spectacular !!
After sprinting from the Airport to Jersey Pike in 8 minutes, NS 26C comes around the curve with the Reading leading. After shooting CSX L806 with the Law Enforcement engine on the point not even 10 minutes earlier, that & this 26C is definitely one of the better back-to-back duos you could get. 8-30-22

Keep Talking est une reprise d’une image nommée « Où est passée la fête? » publiée en 2011. Ces chaises vides sur un fond de ciel menaçant m’ont toujours fasciné et j’avais l’impression que la version de 2011 n’avait pas tout dit de ce qu’on peut ressentir devant cette scène. Cette nouvelle version m’a été inspirée par la musique de Pink Floyd et porte le titre d’une des chansons de l’album The Division Bell (1994). Cet album traite des difficultés de communication chez l’humain. J’espère être parvenu à bien illustrer ce thème. « There is a silence surrounding me….Keep talking… » Un hommage à Pink Floyd. Keep Talking is a "redux" of an image called "Where is the party?", published in 2011. These empty chairs projected on a menacing sky always fascinated me and I believe that the 2011 version did not communicate all that is felt in front of this scene. This new version was inspired by the music of Pink Floyd and is named as one of their songs in the album The Division Bell (1994). This album deals with the difficulty of communication among people. I hope I managed to illustrate the theme. "There is a silence surrounding me. . . Keep talking . . . ". A tribute to Pink Floyd. (Patrice)
