I love looking at all the wonderful vintage/collage tags that people make so thought I'd give it a go for this week Tag Tuesday. The theme was "Men" - as this stamp is the nearest I have, it had to do. It is by Inkadinkado. I stamped it onto white card with a Blue Memento Ink and then used Vintage Photo distress ink sponged over it and on the edges. I cut the tag by cutting a strip of cream card the width of the top of my spellbinders label, slip in into the label and cut the top only. I over stamped the tag with HA Old French writing and Music stamp by Kiwistamping.co.nz. Again I distressed the background. I also added some stick grid which I had coloured with the blue ink, added a button and the gold swirly bit. Quite pleased with the outcome.

Third tag for the Scramble today... Printed the background straight onto the tag - but didn't quite get the sizing correct so had to add my own handwriting on the bottom... tried to make it a bit spooky looking. Coloured hte cheerleader girl from the Happy Girls cling and added a little witches hat from Jenny's H'owl"oween set. Not the greatest of colouring as I was in a hurry to finish. Still, a bit of a fun tag.

-Pues las vi por 1º vez cuando un amigo me dijo hace unos años "mira sales en esta revista" y ,me enseñó una blythe morena con el pelo rizadito por meterse conmigo. Luego descubri que no podia tener una. (dinero) y ya pues consegui la 1º y es un no parar.
10. What do you collect other than Blythe? (entiendo algo asi como si colecciono otra cosa que no sean blythes) ... colecciono cosas en si que me gusten. Cosas esotericas. Atrapasueños, llamadores de angeles (ke terminan en las blythes como pullrings) cosas de gatos... del señor de los anillos, de pesadilla antes de navidad... y mi mayor coleccion es de fotos. Tengo albunes de fotos - diarios donde voy pegandolas y contando como me siento. Colecciono fotos de gente que no conozco y de sonrisas o ojos, lugares que he visitado y que no... fotos en si.

1. I'm 24 years old and my birthday is in November
2. I'm going to college, my major is Computer Arts
3. I have 3 cats (I LOVE cats!)
4. When I was younger my favorite color was red because my all time favorite show was the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and my favorite ranger was the Red Ranger. But when I got a bit older I realized I actually loved the color pink.
5. I have loved to write ever since I was little but I really really fell in love with writing because of my awesome 8th grade English teacher.
6. I've loved to draw ever since I was old enough to pick up a pencil.
7. I fell in love with sewing because of my Girl Scout leader who was a seamstress and taught me how to sew.
8. I was a Girl Scout for as long as you can be one (Daisys-Seniors) and I earned my Girl Scout Gold Award.
9. Right now I work as a Waitress even though I always told myself I would never work in the food industry.
10. In the past year I have really gotten interested in photography and collecting dolls.
11. When I was little I did not like playing with dolls and now I can't get enough of dolls. I love them!
12. I love getting on flickr and I am so glad that it has helped me meet so many wonderful people from all over the world.
13. I have been writing in journals since I was old enough to write and I still have all of them from over the years.
14. I have never really liked sports. Though I don't mind going to a baseball game and I love to watch ice skating but I don't like participating in sports.
15. I love Sci-fi movies and shows. My favorite show is Stargate SG1 and Stargate Atlantis and my favorite Sci-fi movie is Star Wars.
16. I own every Veggie Tales DVD cause I love the show sooo much and my dream job would be to work for the Veggie Tales show. :D
17. I worry too much.
18. My favorite place to be is the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia though I have never seen mountains bigger than them. I hope to one day go out west and see the huge mountains!
19. I can't stand silence.
20. I don't like being misunderstood.

The last thing I expected was for the first image I posted from my Nikon D90 to be a self portrait but I've been tagged by my good friend krazykrayons. So here goes, 15 things about me:
1. I like things to be organized and everything to be in its place. If you were to take a shoe and place it on the floor in the middle of the room, I wouldn't be able to sleep knowing it was there. My wife is incredibly untidy. This is not good for my general mental well being.
2. I have to wake up to an alarm. When it goes off at 0530 I sit bolt upright in bed, swing my legs out and I'm ready to start the day. If I just wake up naturally I stay so groggy that the rest of the day is pretty much a write off.
3. I gave up a promising career as an officer in the Royal Navy to start a family and I haven't regretted it for a second.
4. I haven't had a drink for almost 2 years and there is no way of saying that to people without them thinking that you once had a serious alcohol problem. I didn't.
5. I'm a complete gadget nerd and spend an extraordinary amount of my time geeking out over the latest smartphone operating system or DSLR specifications and lovingly caressing my iPhone.
6. I lost touch with my best friend because I didn't agree with his decision to divorce his wife after one year of marriage. I was the Best Man.
7. I haven't posted any images of Colt the Dog for a while because we had to get rid of him after my daughter developed an allergy to his fur. He's gone to a good home with other doggy friends.
8. I hate horror films. My wife loves them. This means that I go to bed scared quite often.
9. I have never broken a bone in my body.
10. My idea of a perfect holiday is skiing. Being up in the mountains, getting some exercise and then spending the evening in the resort. Absolute heaven.
11. I call my parents once a fortnight to catch up. I think this is often enough. My mother would disagree.
12. I have never had an accident involving another driver. I did, however, crash my beloved 2-seater convertible into my own garage. The insurance premiums went up so high, I had to sell her shortly after.
13. I currently live in Liverpool. I want to live in Toronto.
14. I could quite happily spend the rest of my life without watching another moment of television. Take my internet away on the other hand and I'd be reduced to a gibbering, quivering wreck curled up in a ball sobbing gently to myself.
15. I love photography and I love Flickr. If it wasn't for the community and all of the wonderful comments, I wouldn't be half as enthusiastic.
