I have been driving the same route home from work for the last 4 years. My route is through a very undesirable part of Oakland, CA. Last year this awesome graffiti went up. I think it's beautiful and a real work of art. I wish it could all be this pretty.
My Version of Tims tag, day 4,5,6 to follow, day 4 is done and at local SS, forgot to take picture of before AI took it to be put on their bulletin board. Working on tag 5 still and tag 6 has to wait, did not have hardly anything I needed there, did not even come up with something to improvise, so will all follow soon, I am trying.
Most fun part was making the flower out of the paper tape!! I colored mine with barn door distress ink on the edges and added some clear stickles for shine, looks better in real life, wanted to perk up the tag!! Rough when you have to work in steps and so slow!! But I just can not just sit around and not do something, pain has subsided some. Such is life!! The cut back on typing has helped the carpal tunnel that and medications. Thanks for the well wishes, really helped!!

This one spells out 'SNOT'. Square letters are easier to manage than the flowing, curving lines of a lot of tags.
I used the ink smooshing technique on this card, but got a slightly drier look by using less water to mist. I tried several versions of this background with thinner card stock, but the colors ran too much so I switched to water color paper. The tag is by Pretty Pink Posh, the inks are Distress inks in Worn Lipstick and Honey, and Stampin' up Garden Green. I used some of the small elements from the W&W stamp set, Our Town to make the sun and tree, as well as that tiny double stitched line under the tree. I love using those tiny images in stamps sets that you never quite know how to use. The Hello die is by Simon Says Stamp, and is inlaid.
W&W Birthday Challenge: Mood board. I was inspired by the colors in the mood board, and the nature theme.
