Strobist: SB-700 speedlight on charity shop tripod to left of boarded up window; Yongnuo 560 II tied to fence to right of subject; both optically triggered by on camera flash. A small led torch added a bit of extra light to the existing graffiti (litter as found). Frock a piece of thin cotton fabric that was recently retired after 10 years as "temporary" curtains + safety pin.

So since it hasn't gotten about 25 in a couple weeks here, I thought that my tag should be from a warmer, sunnier time! This one is from the Dreams Resort in Punta Cana!
I have learned that I am really not good at SP at all, no matter how hard I try, haha The only ones I end up liking are ones where I have a few clones in the shot or have my face half hidden behind the camera.
So anyways, here are 5 interesting things that you may not know about me, and 5 things that you already knew about me! We'll do the ones you probably don't know first!
1. My favorite TV shows are the Office and Sopranos, before it got cancelled
2. My cell phone number has been through every single major carrier in the US at least once, and through one carrier twice!
3. Growing up I wanted to move to a small town in the midwestern US, once that had one main road going through it and everyone knew everyone else. Not sure why, it just sounded appealing!
4. I have spoken German for 16 years, and was only 2 credits shy of a double major in college. Next on my list of languages are Italian and Russian
5. Christmas is my absolutely favorite time of year, and I am very sad that I have to wait 357 days (as of 1/7/10!) to have it again!
And now 5 things you probably already knew!
1. I love tequila on the rocks, by far the greatest drink one could have. Although a good class of whiskey never hurt anyone!
2. I am addicted to HDR. I just can't stop
3. The Dallas Cowboys are my favorite football team, and I hate the Pittsburgh Steelers, which doesn't mix well considering I live in Pittsburgh
4. I have 2 tattoos, but would like more. not sure how many more, I just want more
5. The sun and the flares that come with is it probably my favorite thing to photograph!

1. Soy la mayor de 4 hermanos, adoro a mi familia y disfruto mucho comer juntos._
2. Mi mejor amiga es mi mami :) estamos mas que conectadas siempre, tambien es la mejor critica!
3. Estoy felizmente enamorada y complementada con la relación sentimental que tengo, me despierto todos los dias con las mariposas alborotadas y emocionada de estar junto a alguien que me hace sentir viva y orgullosa de mi misma cada sengundo de la vida._
4. Me encantan los zapatos en general (altos, tennis, flats, botas, sandalias) TODOS!!!
5. Los ositos gummis rojos son mi debilidad :P
6. Colecciono desde pequeña dos cosas Batman y Hello Kitty muñecos (de batman tengo 48), cepillo de dientes, ropa, toalla, cobijas, comics, hebillas, cinturones, tazas, cajitas, tarjetas, mouse, ropa, muñecos, esferos, colores, postales, cuadernos, agendas, ya se que mis dos colecciones van de extremo a extremo pero siempre ha sido asi._
7. Me encanta la música no puedo decir que toda, pero si una gran variedad, amo los boleros, delirio con el rock and roll._
8. No me gustan los collares para mi, no me lucen, encambio me enloquecen las pulseras, anillos y aretes._
9. Me encanta tener colores, lapices de diferentes puntas, crayolas, pasteles, cuadernos, papeles de colores, libretas y agendas.
10. Escribo un diario y es algo que hago desde hace varios años._
11. Monte tabla (skateboard) desde los 12 hasta los 18 años pero me fracture la clavicula y el tobillo derecho asi que me toco dejarlo.

13. Siempre me a gustado la fotografia herede eso de mi mami aunque hace unos dos años lo hago con mas dedicación._

O primeiro doll de 2016 acabou se tornando o meu preferido e abriu um mundo novo pra mim, pois ele foi o meu primeiro tae em um relacionamento com outro tae. Foi um desafio e eu nunca achei que ia dar tão certo! ♥
Ele foi o Panda, que chegou dia 06/01/2016.
E a última foi a Pullip Blanche, que chegou no dia 14/12/2016 mas só pude mexer no Natal, pois foi um presente hehehe XD Ainda não sei muito sobre essa mocinha ainda sem nome, mas sou apaixonada nela!
Por coincidência, os dois são loirinhos de olhos verdes ♥

One of my favorite contacts, Dougass tagged me for the 16 things group. So, here's sixteen things about me.
1. I'm in a wheelchair because I injured my spinal cord at the age of 16 while riding a mountain bike. I still walk around in my dreams though, which is a little weird, but nice.
2. I was a late bloomer and didn't have sex until I was 20 years old and I've never had sex with a woman.
3. My friend's parents seem to always like me. To the point that it annoys some of my friends.
4. I'm currently in the longest relationship I've ever been in, 1 year and 6 months and I met him on Flickr.
5. I used to be shy, but now I'm usually the extroverted one in the room.
6. I'm fairly close to my family. I have 3 half-sisters, 1 half-brother, and 1 full brother, but since I'm the youngest I always thought of them as full siblings. My mother and father stayed married up until my father's death.
7. I get cold sores, which my boyfriend Jesse gleefully points out is a form of oral herpes, even though Jesse no doubt has herpes now too.
8. I'm probibly an atheist, but I tend to think the world is on my side and most people are good.
9. I'd like to get gay married and have a kid or two someday.
10. I'm a bit messy and have several half finished projects laying around at any given time. One of my current projects is pickled lemons.
11. I like traveling, but I need to be back in my own bed after a few days. I also prefer doing something fun during the day over partying at night.
11. The most manly things I know how to do are solder copper pipe and fix irrigation systems. The most girly things I know how to do are sewing, gardening and listening to Beyonce.
12. I hate it when people make you say please by saying "what's the magic word?" I REALLY hate that.
13. Sundays make me a bit depressed.
14. I fart often. Jesse's even thought I was talking to him in the morning when it was just me farting.
15. I think some PDA, like holding hands and kissing hello or goodbye, is okay and should be encouraged. It warms my heart to see two people in love.

Então vamos à explicação sobre o desktop...
Faz algum tempo que uso essa foto pq além de ter sido batida por mim, ela fez o maior sucesso aqui no Flickr quando eu postei, apareceu na página principal do Explore e agora já tem mais de 10 mil visualizações. A unha de morango que aparece nela tbm foi feita por mim e de todas que eu fiz essa é a que eu mais gosto, já que foi a responsável por todo o reconhecimento que ganhei nesse meio artÃstico.
Ali no cantinho tem 5 fotos que deixo bem na minha visão. São algumas ideias pra nail art que eu não posso esquecer de fazer HISHIOSA :x mas nem vou comentar que ideias são essas, pq é surpresa!

Parlare di se stessi non è facile, comunque ci provo.
1)Mi chiamo Giuliana, ma in famiglia e tutti gli amici mi chiamano Giuli, e a me piace.
2)Vivo nell’hinterland milanese, sposata, due figlie, ormai donne, una nipotina, e due gatti, Perla e Golia..
3)Sono testarda e rompiballe, disordinata e un po’ pigra, ma mi piaccio così. Non sono una sportiva, ho sempre pensato che lo sport in fondo fa male. In compenso mi piace camminare.
4)Sono nata in un immenso vigneto che si chiama Friuli., lì sono le mie radici, lì un pezzo del mio cuore. Lì la casa di mio padre, e prima di lui, di mio nonno.. Lì ritrovo odori e sapori dell’infanzia, voci e sguardi a me cari.
5)Adoro cucinare, diciamo che è la mia più grande passione, insieme alla fotografia.
Credo infatti che cucinare sia una forma d’amore, così come la fotografia sia un modo per fissare e trasmettere le proprie emozioni. Non sono una gran fotografa, e cerco di non prendermi troppo sul serio.
6)Adoro anche mangiare. E da buona friulana anche bere, soprattutto bianco, un bicchiere di Ribolla gialla o di Tocai mi fanno sempre compagnia mentre cucino un risotto, ma non disdegno certo il rosso.
7)Amo moltissimo il mare, anche d’inverno. Mi rimette in pace con me stessa e col mondo stare a guardarlo, respirarne il profumo, ascoltarne il sussurro, quando è in burrasca mi affascina ancora di più.
8)Mi piace molto leggere, non so più dove mettere i libri, ma continuo a comprarne.
9)Amo moltissimo viaggiare, e anche se per vari motivi non posso fare tutti i viaggi che vorrei, cerco di cogliere tutte le occasioni possibili per farlo.
10)Amo la musica, tutta, il cinema, il teatro, ma più di tutto amo la Poesia, il mio autore preferito è Fernando Pessoa.
11)In Tv, se la guardo, guardo CSI e tutto quello che è giallo, fantascienza e western….amo i vecchi film americani, e il neorealismo italiano, i film di Sergio Leone, di Truffaut, quelli di Woody Allem e dei Fratelli Cohen….
12)Mi piacciono i colori freddi, vesto quasi sempre di scuro (sfina) con qualche tocco di colore.
13)Credo fermamente nell’amicizia, ci investo sempre molto, anche a rischio di ammaccarmi l’anima, ma va bene così, lo metto nel conto. Chi mi considera una amica, sa che ci sono sempre.
14)Detesto i luoghi comuni, la superficialità , il pressappochismo, le persone false e opportuniste e i voltagabbana, e ultimamente troppi ce ne sono.
15)Odio l’ingiustizia, mi sono battuta,. anche pagando di persona, e continuerò a battermi contro di essa.
16)Ho attraversato abbastanza tempeste e bufere nella vita, tanto da capire che l’unica cosa che conta veramente sono gli affetti. Niente altro conta più di questo.

...I just stared uploading pics to fickr January of this year and my photo skills were a little sketchy at best, lol. Being on flickr and learning new things about photography really helped me improve a lot of things along the way. It was really great to share my girls with everyone and actually have people love them just as much as I do. I've gotten to meet so many talented and genuinely nice Barbie collectors here which I've never done before. So being welcomed by all you guys on flickr has been one of the highlights of my year! Cheers to the frick'n New Year... I'll drink to that!
