After FEC train 101 passed the DS lined the 905 local behind him to St. Augustine. What the hell? I'll stick around and nab it!
the FEC 439 is the ex-Soo 4609, nee MILW 2023, nee MILW 186 if my notes are correct. So somewhere, I likely have a photo of it in it's previous life.

Heute habe ich bei dem schlechten Wetter mal ein paar Linsen ausprobiert. Leider war ich von der Qualität nicht überzeugt. Mit ein wenig Photoshop reichte es aber noch zu einem Tagesfoto.:-)
I have been tagged by McAlister. Being tagged before, I am running out of things to say about myself...I think I'll have to start making stuff up soon. But for now all these 10 are true:
1. I don't like to plan in advance (sometimes it backfires...so what?).
2. No plant can survive my loving care.
3. I read a lot of cheap mystery/action novels...mostly when I travel and need to kill time at the airport.
4. I find romance novels boring even as airport reading, but at the same time I can enjoy a good chick flick.
5. I am a total political junkie.
6. I like silly useless things and people who don't take themselves too seriously.
7. I make sure I try local beer in every country I travel to (the one in this picture is Ethiopian).
8. As you can see I travel a lot - this is because I work in international public health...reproductive health to be more specific (many contacts asked me what I do, so here it is).
9. I love gadgets and usually can figure out how they work without reading a manual (because I am too lazy to read it...or impatient...or both).
10. English is not my first language and I was born in country that does not exist anymore :P

12. I have Skype. Although I only "Skype" with people I know (best friends, etc.)

15. I have three custom minifigures, all of them are eclipseGrafx figures: Kid Flash, Artemis, and The Winter Soldier.
16. I'm hoping to get Christo's Deathstroke for Easter, along with The Steam Roller and/or LAke-Town Chase.
17. I have many favourite movies, couldn't sum up all of them though, so here are a few: The Hobbit Trilogy (can't wait for third one!), The LoTR Trilogy, Captain America: The First Avenger, Man of Steel, Thor: The Dark World, The Dark Knight, and many, many more.
18. Ugh, I hate tags.

25. (Nearly through!) I never watched Doctor Who and probally will never. (Guessing I'm losing some friends right now :P)

I was tagged by my good Flickr buddy Mikul! This is just not me. I had to lie in one of the statements below! And I blame both Steve Page and Mikul!
This one is a bit of a challenge. I had to come up with my list of five and then post a Self Portrait. Fortunately, my wife frequently takes picture of me when I'm shooting using the iPhone 4. This is me shooting at sunset on my last trip to the Oregon Coast. And that is one beautiful silhouette of the Canon EOS 7D and the Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L IS USM on a tripod.
