this is the bluebird tag i made for the colorerratica tag book.
hand carved stamp painted with acrylic.
i carved the feet separately so that i could place the bird
at several angles.
crepe paper and glass glitter blossoms, embossed floral foil crown
vintage tracing wheel was used to mark the foil tape
but on my own terms...

A color tweak on part of a burst series at Badwater Basin in Death Valley National Park. This location is a “mind blowing” 282 feet below sea level. The color tweak was my attempt to enhance the water and background.

Hey guys! It’s been a while since we last posted something, but you’ll see why very soon.
Anyway, with BrickFair Virginia coming up, we figured that we would do a tag picture so that you guys can find us there. Plus, we’ve been tagged waaaaaay too many times not to do so :P
Here are some interesting facts about us:
1) Justin is on the left and Jordan is on the right
2) Zac Ross (-Yoshifan151-) refers to us as Mario and Luigi, which happens to work out rather nicely since Justin is taller and likes green, and Jordan is shorter and likes red. By now he’s probably forgotten our real names. <_<
3) Almost everyone else on Skype just refers to us collectively as “JJ”.
4) We typically don’t stick to just one theme, but a lot of our builds have been castle as of late because of our involvement in the Lands of Roawia group, in which we are in the faction Garheim.
5) Our collaborative display, Homefront, was a huge success last year, and the display’s follow-up will be at BrickFair this year under the same name.
6) We are both 16 years old as of April 22 and are going to be juniors in high school.
7) This picture was taken before our school’s wind ensemble performance in which we were both a part of. Justin plays clarinet and Jordan plays bass clarinet.
8) We both play volleyball in and out of school. Last year we were both on JV, and hope to make varsity this year.
9) When it comes to building, people often get confused. Our building process is somewhat like this: whether or not the build is made together or not, we choose not to specify who made it, and simply post it under both of our names. When we do make something together, we often each build separate portions of the model and collaborate in that sense. No, we don’t take turns placing bricks on a baseplate. The same goes for commenting. As humorous as it may be, we don’t type together on the keyboard.
10) We’re looking forward to revealing our MOCs for BrickFair, and we can’t wait to see you all there!
tl;dr: We are two chill guys that you should meet at BrickFair if you're going.
Oh, and we're in the ongoing process of trying to tag all of our close friends/inspirations/bros still, so if we forgot you and you think that we consider you a friend/inspiration/bro, just add yourself and save us the trouble :P

I have been tagged by McAlister. Being tagged before, I am running out of things to say about myself...I think I'll have to start making stuff up soon. But for now all these 10 are true:
1. I don't like to plan in advance (sometimes it backfires...so what?).
2. No plant can survive my loving care.
3. I read a lot of cheap mystery/action novels...mostly when I travel and need to kill time at the airport.
4. I find romance novels boring even as airport reading, but at the same time I can enjoy a good chick flick.
5. I am a total political junkie.
6. I like silly useless things and people who don't take themselves too seriously.
7. I make sure I try local beer in every country I travel to (the one in this picture is Ethiopian).
8. As you can see I travel a lot - this is because I work in international public health...reproductive health to be more specific (many contacts asked me what I do, so here it is).
9. I love gadgets and usually can figure out how they work without reading a manual (because I am too lazy to read it...or impatient...or both).
10. English is not my first language and I was born in country that does not exist anymore :P

Hi! My full name is "Aero Charm of BHD", but most people just call me Aero.
1. I was born on may 29, 2007. My father came from a show line, my mother was a working dog. The result: a stunning beautiful working dog -- me! I only weigh 18 Kg and there's not a gram of body fat to be found.
2. I wasn't very lucky with my first owner. She bought me because I was so cute, As she was partly disabled, she couldn't walk me. I lived on a small piece of lawn and had to entertain myself.
3. Because I became uncontrollable, my owner had me neutered. She thought that would make me less active. Wrong!
4. Border Collie lovers noticed my situation and persuaded my owner to let me go and find a more suitable home. I lived at a foster family for a while, but their oldest dog and I weren't good friends.
5. On august 30 2008 I met Hans, my new owner. I didn't know what to think of him at first, but we became best friends in no time!
6. I like to run, swim, play with balls or sticks, or to chase the light of a laser pointer. I also like to herd. Preferably animals, but bicycles or mopeds will do, too (if Hans wouldn't prevent it all the time...)
7. I'm the cuddling type of dog. I like to kiss visitors! You *will* be licked!
8. When I came here, I knew nothing. Now I know all herding commands, either vocal or by sign language. I didn't have much chance to practice yet.
9. I live with 2 other dogs: Sandy and Pepsi. Pepsi is the lowest ranking dog I ever met, but Sandy is the Alpha here. I obey her at all times.
10. I'm very good at manipulating my owner. He thinks he owns me, but I can assure you that it's the other way around. But, shhhhh, don't tell him!
