Decorative lamp Pride&Joy red #poppies, desinged out of wood, metal and car parts with Edison bulb.
The painting was made with the decoupage technique and supplemented with acrylic paints, artistic technique using a palette knife.

Grandpa's lunch box?
Oh, it's right here mounted to the base of a previously discarded gooseneck desk lamp. Next door is the companion red plastic thermos featuring an interior flashing red bulb.
The lunch box spent some lonely years and has a bit of rust on the surface, but we think it goes well with the two neon flicker bulbs and truly add to the feel of a "hot lunch." The push button switch is mounted in the base and controls both components.

The green and white Japanese ceramic platter on the bookshelf was a wedding gift from our lovely Japanese friend.

This milk glass hobnail lamp is a little different then the average lamp. It has a beautifully elegant base that adds some additional interest to the piece and gives it some increased height.
The base is 4 inches across and roughly 5 inches tall. The entire lamp is 13 inches tall. I have tested it and it works perfectly. The cord is a 2 prong cord. The actual milk glass is in excellent condition, but the metal has a few rough spots as seen in the picture.
Picture this on Captain Nemo's nightstand. Now, picture it on yours. Industrialization never looked so good. Get your metal on and light up the world(or at least a corner of the room). Standard 110 volts, touch control. Anywhere on the shade or body cycles through three brightness levels.
Easy and cheap to replace Christmas bulbs. It's all about the ambiance.
