for the summer. Made of scraps I've collected this last year. Such happy, yummy colors. The orange/yellow remind me of ripe peaches, the blues of the pool, the pink of my flower garden and the purple and aqua of the delphimiums I have growing.
I had to buy size 22 beads and special thread and needles to make the beadwork display on the table. The table base of Delica 8's is an empty thread spool and the tabletop is done in Delica11's in my own pattern.
for 7DoS: came across this table when I was out and about at the weekend. Sadly, I couldn't get a shot of the whole circle without it being covered in shadows of me and my phone, so I had to settle for just a quarter
The RR is in the thick woods at the top of the table. The Germans are trying to secure the bridge. (Where 3 blinds are located, hiding 3 armored cars) The Poles get to start within 6" of the woods/road leading to the train

Some steps leading to a trestle table posted earlier.
Hadn't built the woodshop yet, still in the garage.
Tasks that stumped me initially were the long mortices for the wedges (top right), joining the two big planks for the top (OMG, for a good smoothing plane), and cutting away everything but the dovetail keys to attach the top (bottom left). Oh, and I still have no idea how eight dovetail slots were cut into the top without at least one catastrophe.
I think some butterfly inlays are visible in the top.
Very rigid, yet it all comes apart in a minute.
Ranging in width from 132″ to 159″, these unique Vintage Table Tops will make for a super impressive dining or conference table. But it’s not just the massive size of each Vintage Table Top that make it such a jaw-dropping piece. As part of Cantoni’s Vintage Collection, each table top is made of natural acacia wood from approximately 150-year-old tress in South America, meaning that each top is unique and an individual work of nature. No two Vintage Table Tops are alike in that all color variations, splits and edges are inherent to the table top’s natural design. It’s the distressed features and natural characteristics of the wood that truly enhance its beauty.
