TABLE LAMP XVIII

The lamp is made of Senegalese gourd.

White carvings are deeper layer of wood which allows some light to pass through it.

At the top of the lamp is closing part locked with little magnets. The base is finished with black jeweller waxed string.

Diameter of the gourd is 21cm. Lamp is 35,5cm high. Diameter of the base is 24,5cm.

A couple tables I am working on putting together. Each will use very worn, gray looking white oak barn siding for the tops. Legs are solid poplar, painted in different colors.

Square table is a side table. Long table is for behind a sofa to hold plants.

I loved playing it when I was a kid.

The table tennis at the Villa. I played hundreds of games, loved the table tennis. Only ever lost twice, once to Greg and once to Jen.

We also setup tournaments, singles and then a doubles and than another singles the next day. I won all three tournaments, even the doubles in which I was paired with Mum, who was probably the worst player.

I'm afraid the day got away from me again - another last minute shot...

This one inch scale table is all ready for the Holidays. It is skirted in holly print fabric with a green topper decorated with red bows. On the top of the table are a decorated table tree, a dish of candy, a plate with a gingerbread cookie and a cup ready to fill with tea or coffee for Santa as he makes his rounds on Christmas Eve. Next to the table (attached) is a decorative broom decoration and a wrapped package.

Late 90's/early 2000's cherrywood living room table.

I bought this table for $8 at Goodwill. It was dark and unfinished. I painted the whole table freehand. Then, I lined the drawer with vintage pink and white striped wallpaper and added a couple of coats of sealant.

I gave this as a gift.
