I'd set some peanuts out on the patio table for the blue jays - and the chipmunks and squirrels immediately moved in.
after some rain falls now on the turn from winter to spring there are a couple of waterfalls from Table Mountain ...

The main feature of Table Mountain is the level plateau approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) from side to side, edged by impressive cliffs. The plateau, flanked by Devil's Peak to the east and by Lion's Head to the west, forms a dramatic backdrop to Cape Town. This broad sweep of mountainous heights, together with Signal Hill, forms the natural amphitheatre of the City Bowl and Table Bay harbour. The highest point on Table Mountain is towards the eastern end of the plateau and is marked by Maclear's Beacon, a stone cairn built in 1865 by Sir Thomas Maclear for trigonometrical survey. It is 1,086 metres (3,563 ft) above sea level, about 19 metres (62 ft) higher than the cable station at the western end of the plateau.

We had a dinner party for 12. All glassware and silverware was used! I made that floral arrangement-I thought it turned really nice.
Ok partner, once I started this I couldn't stop till its done. What do you think, you like?? I know its very simple shapes, so if its not to your taste, that's ok, it fits my coffee table perfectly :-) If you do like, have you any quilting suggestions?
I've made a table runner matching my rainbow pillow (it must be quilted).
The only problem is that we don't have a table in living room:)

Use it to add a little more length to any other 30" wide table. Need an 10 foot long table ? Use a 4' and a 6'. Want a 12' long table ? Use an 8' and a 4'. Combinations of 4's 6's and 8's will allow you to achieve almost any length.
This is a crazy little table I bought years ago. It has LOTS of "warts and knobs" and I love the silly thing. I am slowly becoming LESS enamoured of the intricate dusting it requires though.
