A shield-shaped voting tag or badge from the late 1950s or early 1960s that originally came with a string threaded through the hole at the top.

The logo at bottom middle (smudged a bit on this copy of the tag) consists of hands holding a torch and the name of "The American Heritage Foundation," which is best known for sponsoring the 1947-1949 Freedom Train.

At the top are the Initials "IPW" (not sure what they stand for) and the words "Union Made." Note, too, that the tag is perforated so that the bottom third of the tag with the red and white stripes can be detached for some unknown reason.

For another copy, see the Seattle Municipal Archives' Voting Badge, circa 1960s and a related discussion on Wikipedia about the tag's origin and history.

For more information about the American Heritage Foundation, track down a copy of Stuart J. Little's article, "The Freedom Train: Citizenship and Postwar Political Culture, 1946-1949," American Studies, vol. 34, no. 1 (Spring, 1993), pp. 35-67.

3D Typography render made in Cinema4D R11.5

I felt like making a "Comics" inspired work, I used a cool font called "Badaboom" that you can find here [link]

I used a soft global illumination, a Cell-render effect (which gives some cool borders to the scene elements), a distance depth of field, 4 lights, 3 soft shadows.

Render time : 40 minutes

After determining what he believed were the most enduring games in history — board games, numbers games like dice or cards and letter games like crossword puzzles — he combined all three.
