A typography project that I'll be completing tomorrow...

A simple typography experiment using limited colours and a mix of shapes and scale.

This is another work in progress I've been working on. After seeing work from British typography artist Craig Ward, I decided to take an old sketch and turn it into typography art. 3 weeks in and half completed, this was defiantly an enjoyable challenge I'm working on. Date stared - 17/12/2014

Restaurant Typography

9/18/14

Washington, DC - Union Market

Successful: I like this typography because it is very modern and sleek. The variation of weight makes the Restaurant name stand out. The contrast of script to sans-serif is visually pleasing. I also think the shape of the sign is cute but not too cutesy. The letters are legible and well laid out spacing wise.
