The Assignment:
Create professional water bottle label based on the Greco/Roman demigod.
The Project:
I studied several soda and water bottle labels. Heilos, the sun god intrigued me due to the juxtaposition of fire and water. Continuing the Greco-Roman theme, I chose Lithos and Trajan as the key typefaces for the design. Furthermore, I chose a limited color palette to create a harmonious design and save on printing costs. The Sun is also associated with Vitamin C and electrolytes so I opted on a favored/enhanced water to add some visual/contextual interest.
Course: Typography and Page Layout
It might be a bit icky to put left-over food in here, but this little guy may be perfect for leftover buttons and other crafting supplies…
same font as before, 12 line size.
I also have some boxes I haven't unpacked and think I have the condensed 12 line, the lowercase of this font/size, and a lovely serifed 8 line size.
Graphic design and typography in collaboration with Tove Svensson. Cover typeface is Alpha and body is set in Sabon. Book published by Springer, London, in 2008.
My design works appeared in design book.
I have spent many time with design, and it has been a rich
and rewarding experience for me. My efforts bore fruit at last.
